Your favorite song covers?

. . . that was awful.
Compared to Jerry Reed's, yes I agree. As part of that album, I dig it. When that album's on in my shop, it's a nice reminder that I need to give my JR playlist a few runs through soon.

I don't do subscription services, so my wife's old (and shot ) netbook is my jukebox in my shop. Sometimes I'll play a certain album for the old "listening to tapes or CDs" experience; sometimes I'll fire up an eclectic playlist with 100s of songs.

Anything from Killdozer’s “For Ladies Only”

2nd place anything from first Me First and the Gimee Gimee’s album.

Tulsa Time by Jason Boland
He stopped loving her/purple rain by Jackson Taylor.

As much as I enjoy Johnny Russell. Buck Owens did a good job of rednecks, white socks and blue ribbon beer.

If you like The Band, Marcus King Band did the entire Last Waltz concert last year:

Was watching For all mankind the past few weeks. It got me hooked on Billy Swans Cover of don’t be cruel. He knocked this one out of the park. :smokin:

I've got a weird fascination with anything Post Modern Jukebox does, especially Haley Reinhart, that smokey, raspy voice....
