What's new

Whistlin Diesel is gonna hurt some feelers with this one (R32 abuse)

his channel, Garrret's, those Mexican guys with the little Hondas, and a few other I blocked. I got so sick and tired of the clickbait titles, red arrows and circles, and videos of just them acting like they're in a GTA mission.

There are some channels that absolutely fit your description and I stopped watching them due to it as well but Garret doesn't do any wiz bang titles that are clickbait that I've seen. If it's in the title it happens and he doesn't exaggerate too terribly.

The latest is exactly what happened. It did a 1 tire and the hitch wheelie and came down hard enough to break the steering shaft and bend both motor plates. Woops.

He did all those blacked out shots IIRC. /shrug

I haven't watched his channel in about two years probably. I can't watch those channels anymore. We've brought it up a couple times here, but here I am watching all these videos of guys racing, hunting, building, whatever and having a grand time. And I'm just watching. for fucks sake, I'll shut it off and do the stuff I enjoy instead.

Everything I watch I do or have done in real life. Watching all the drag & drive events has inspired me to get offy ass and build a rig to join them. 😎

Yep, the whole time I had my jeep torn apart I watched tons of wheeling vids to keep me motivated to finish.

In the recommends on the home page, or in the "up next" video list on the right-hand side when watching a video, click the 3 dots button next to any video, and choose "not interested" or "don't recommend this channel" options. Click it over and over and eventually it'll start to show you a little less, but they'll still sneak in every so often.
That will not work if you are searching for something. The first two or 3 videos will be relate to the search, them random shit show up. The 3 dot thing will not delete them:mad3:

I which this Scotty Kilmer would RIP.

yea, that's one thing. just didn't really seem there was much tech in his videos anymore. just the racing boats and picking up my car from Kevin. Let's see what he did with it.

I liked Jason. That guy knew his stuff. I'd watch the videos if he got more into the tech.

I've noticed that too. Search seems 50% related to what you're searching for and about 50% related to your previous video views.

I search for video tutorials for software from time to time, and will get a handful of somewhat useful videos, a decent amount of complete shit videos, and the remainder will be political commentary or offroad videos or gun-related videos similar to what I typically watch when not searching for something specific.

Yeah Youtube, a gun video is super fucking helpful when searching for tips on translucent materials in unreal engine. :shaking:

I still got no clue. Is r32 the model of one of those shitboxes or something?
Nissan Skyline R32 GTR, it was built from the ground up to dominate in Group A racing, which it did. It's legendary not only for It's on track success but also its use as popular tuning platform.

Don't care. Neither will anyone else 300 years from now which is nothing on the grand scale.

I refuse to watch his shit. because thats what it is. shit. does nothing constructive at all.

i don’t care at all about destroying jap cars but when he wrecked some of the older work trucks that was painful to watch especially when i was looking for a truck. the old squat body, or some of the duramaxs. he’s done some cool stuff like the 14 year olds tractor thing. i don’t think his attitude has changed he just has got too much money now.

Yeah, that was when he was busy making big moves behind the scenes to buy a racetrack and move shops.

He now has several mechanics and a fabricator working for him, and is racing, breaking, fixing, and building again.

They're putting a Godzilla in a fox body with a stick shift, cut Leroy's ass off for a 9", front trans, and proper 4 link, and have a sm big block in mullet making him a dependable 7 second car.

Not to mention they're taking the crown Vic racing to Bristol. Already did the freedom factory and Indy so far this year.

It's entertainment, and it's cool to see guys in it for the fun.

Kevin has his own channel showing how he builds stuff, which is interesting in it's own right. Lots of stupid racecar tricks, but also stuff like how to setup alignment and suspension on your budget track car.

I'm not a whislin diesel fan, but the kid is smart. He can actually be decent when he's racing crown vics with Garrett, then go back to destroying shit later. He knows how to get clicks and it's paying him.

Can't stand the ****. Like some one said in another post he has a very "punchable face". I'm all for throttling 500$ hoopties but destroying rare and nice vehicles by some smug **** is more then I can stand. I'll tip my hat to him for the tractor thing but that's it. Not saying I'd run him over but I'd hit him with the door as I went by.

Backpfeifengesicht

Noun[edit]

Backpfeifengesicht n (strong, genitive Backpfeifengesichtes or Backpfeifengesichts, plural Backpfeifengesichter)

  1. (colloquial) a slappable face, a face "in need of a slap"

Solid meh here

I cringed when I stumbled across a vid or two a couple years back.

Now I can atleast appreciate the hustle, he found a niche.

Atleast hes doing his part to get rid of squatted trucks

Still wish he ventilated his head with the .50

I see nothing wrong here.

The cars he's destroying are mostly toys for rich assholes. There's thousands of pristine examples locked away in people's garages. It's not like he's jumping Ford Festivas, Hyundai Ponys and other stuff that's actually hard to find in good condition.

Wasn't the R32/Skyline approved for some company to import a ton of them, then the company turned out to just be a scam?

What I never understood about these common cars in other countries and the fanbase here - if you care so much why didn't you put the effort in to get one imported. I know it costs money and time but there is very little you can't get done with enough paperwork and patience.
