What is your largest expense?

i have 2 stupid high truck payments. but i can pay them off. but one is just under 3% and the other under 2. so i am in no hurry. then taxes by a long shot, a big money for nothing scam.

Taxes, mortgage , insurance,food then fuel

rent
then jeep payment
all bills combined (including utilities) about $2200 a month

1. Taxes
2. Insurance
3. Utilities
4. Fuel
5. Food

Taxes takes up damn near 50% of my income. Insurance, utilities, fuel and food take up the other 50%. Our spending money comes from my wife's part time income.

Taxes taxes and more taxes!!!!
Food.... but I cook good food from scratch and don't eat out much.
Hobies and horses are next.

Housing by nearly triple. I try to live low key so no big fancy vehicle payments for me. Always pay more than minimum on my credit accounts, usually double, especially on my card even though its 5% it kills me to have a high balance on it but I'm still paying it down from the ex that kept it maxed for years.

My Fed Income tax alone is more than triple my mortgage. Food (family of 4) is 3rd behind mortgage. Utilities are next. Four years ago food would have been 7th or 8th on the list, but thanks to the Potato's Puppet Masters inflation has made our monthly grocery bill nearly triple what it was.

All of the combined taxes far exceed all of our "normal" living expenses.

My fullsize truck Hobby! Is by far the most expensive thing I have going!
Then
Rent/food.....

May have found an off grid property with cabin ,solar, a boat.... so I might just have to be making payments again. Starting vacation this Thursday. So I'll probably drive down and give it a looksie then make decision.

Kinda excited :smokin::usa::flipoff2: !!

Dooo eeet. We're building completely off grid. No more utility expenses. Local electric companies here started sending customers $400-$800/mo bills.

Groceries and after that is my electric bill

It sucks, because of all the smart folk that tell me that I should be living off of credit cards to get a FICO score :stirthepot:

Child Care, Food, and mortgage. summertime hurts since my kid is out of school luckily we have good jobs and it isnt that big of a deal

Home owners insurance is now by my largest monthly expense. Mortgage, including property text is right there with it.
I’d guess booze and steaks are next in line…
Then our $450-$850/mo electric bill.

:eek::eek:

Taxes, groceries, and motorhome payment. All are around $600 monthly. Home, two boats, jeep are paid off. When I bought the MH it was blue book valued $90K, I paid $64K. I have never been able to figure out why we got that deal except the seller was not familiar with RVs. Both the insurance company I booked it at 90k.
The taxes are for both state and federal, sure wish they weren't wasting them on illegals, bribes, graft, and foreign wars.:mad3:

Mortgage then internet then a distant 3rd is electric:eek:

I'm hoping to drop the first before the end of the year and Starlink will take care of internet.

My buddy in El Dorado Hills can't get home owners insurance. He built out a fire suppression system with pumps and batteries and whatnot, hopefully he never has to find out if it's adequate.

I assume your power bill includes the machine shop?

Mortgage then car payments. Kids are probably up there but that an expense I don't care about (in a good way).
