What's new

Well? Whos winning?

Yep. Looks like America soundly rejected the values that the Democratic party has been pushing so hard.

This needs to be emphasized. The people really pushed back, as a whole. Never in my lifetime have I felt this much pride in the election results as now.

Go Trump. Fix as much of this shit as you can. Prosecute all that did the wrong bullshit of the last 4 years.

:usa:

So my 3.5 year old son is in daycare. He's heard a lot about Trump this week, his mom and I both told him "Trump is awesome", he knows I have a big ass Trump flag on the golf cart.

We mention Trump while driving to dinner tonight, my son says "Trump ewww. Trump's mean." I whipped my head around so fast it almost snapped off. I said, where'd you hear that? He says, school. One of his teachers said it. :mad3::mad3::mad3::mad3:

3.5 years old. I am pissed, and I know the preschool owner is conservative.

I cannot imagine talking politics in preschool.

What a POS teacher

The commies and socialists entrenched in higher education have indoctrinated multiple generations of teachers to not only believe in the anti-American ideals they don't truly understand, but also to believe that they are morally correct in spreading their mind virus at any opportunity to "save" our country. Logic and reason have been replaced by mantras and righteous indignation.

They feel like what they're doing is for the greater good - thinking about it is uncomfortable, so they rely on blind faith reinforced by the resonance of their feels they get from their peers. They feel justified and "know" anyone who disagrees is a hateful (something)-phobe and/or (something)-ist. They don't have to justify their feels to those bad people "because they're bad"; which is handy when your feels can't be explained logically.

What is interesting, is this has been happening for a VERY long time. Oddly enough on this topic, wife and I have recently been binge watching Doctor Quinn, Medicine Woman. The episode we watched last night touched on how this was done to the Indians back in the day. The government paid to set up a school on the reservation, but to get the funding, they had to strictly follow the government manual on running it. This involved cutting all the Indian kids hair to be like white hair styles, dressing them in white people clothes, and of course, with the reverend being the teacher, teaching them all the Bible and Christian beliefs. He even went as far as trying to baptize all the Indian kids in class. Now I know this show isn’t a historical documentary, but they sure do cover a lot of history in it. I honestly don’t recall this show being this deep when I watched it on tv with my parents as a kid.

Trump isn't fucking around this time. They tried to kill him over this. He's surrounding himself with people who don't fuck around. He's making bold claims I hope the american people will hold him to.

Term limits won't fix anything and people should be able to vote in the same people if they want to. Repeal the 17th Amendment and require cognitive function tests, public ones, over a certain age or in cases where medical events make it necessary.

All I remember was she was a baddie. :smokin:
That is accurate for sure. Haven't watched it since it was on the air when I was a kid. Today's TV is mostly garbage so the wife and I have been binge watching old TV shows instead. Before this it was Northern Exposure. Its seriously blowing my mind just how deep this show went for the time it aired.

Eh, I disagree. It's better to have a part time representative who lives and works locally than a professional representative who spends most of their time away from the people they are representing in Washington. No term limits encourages the latter because a full-time rep can spend 100% of their time campaigning. Sure, maybe it'll take longer to get things done, but it's government. They're not supposed to act fast.

When I was in HS we had an elective class called "International Relations", and we'd hold mock UN sessions and have field trips to the Berkley Library as it was a depository for UN documents, (pre-www). Anyway it was a fun way to practice debate skills, and to learn about the workings of other countries. The teacher was an unmarried female with a boy haircut, wore too much makeup and WAY too much perfume, so I'm sure she was a liberal, but I don't recall her EVER voicing her opinion on politics, even though it was a political class.
