Today being Friday what's everyone gonna cook up for the weekend?

I got a craving for some pulled pork but with my side hustle taking up my weekend I might have to settle for some burgers/brats on the grill.
If I was that close to Sedalia I would go get a couple state fair corn dogs
The Missouri Cattleman's steak house always has has a good ribeye also

Tonight was Frito pie and Mex street corn.

Tomorrow I am gonna cover breakfast and lunch, breakfast will be ham, turkey, bacon, lettuce and tomato on a toasted everything bagel with a blue cheese mayo. Lunch time I am gonna get set up and fry up 20 or 30 corn dogs and maybe some pickles and onion rings. GF has dinner duty and she's been talking about doing a fish and chips with some fresh cod we picked up this morning.

Sun morning I'll crank out a batch of biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast, lunch will probably be mostly alcohol of some sort until I get to grilling up a few tenderloins we gotta use up. Might get a pork butt on the go for pulled pork on Monday too.

Was sopost to grill chicken tonight but got ****ed working overtime. Hope to grill chicken tomorrow. Grilled ribeyes last night. Sundays usually do a family thing after church with the inlaws.

Last night we had a few friends over that wanted to see bee hive inspections and I cooked after.

Friday morning, after getting the run of the river hydroelectric plant fixed and running, we shucked the remaining steamers and lobsters. One of the guys makes a killer lobster, potato and clam chowder :smokin:
There will be tons of that for lunch next week.

a chicken coop
Had chicken houses... age 5-19, we grew for Pilgrims Pride. Your post gives me like a weird 'Nam flashback with images of a mountain of dead chickens at the end of a rice paddy, 7 miles of plassons to wash, my dad jumping out of a Huey just screaming because a broke water line flooded house #3 and I didn't cut it off at the well quick enough.

1- I think having yard chickens is an awesome addition to living off the land

2- I will sacrifice my life, and my family's lives before we ever have a chicken on this property

Last night I went to bed at 6pm so no dinner lol this morning I made eggs and bacon on a croissant. Tonight we are going out to dinner and I will be getting the hottest curry they will serve a white person lol.

Doing chops in the sous vide tonight. Tomorrow night is a chicken, brie and leek pie. Sunday is potato soup and fresh bread.
Do you do anything particular to the pork chops? I haven't done those with my sous vide, but want to.
