There are currently zero major parties that want to control spending, the libertarians immolated themselves in a retarded rainbow fire for the 2024 election.

There was a similar large take over in the LP by the Mises Caucus to regain control of the party after it had been captured for the last several years. Chase Oliver is not meant to be taken seriously as a candidate. That pick was done intentionally to drive votes to Trump this election because the LP has similar fears that if the Dems win this election that it may very well be the last one.

edit: They even had Trump speak at the Libertarian National Convention this year.
