My first covid shot resulted in a sore arm. The second shot resulted in very painful finger joints, that lasted about three weeks. This was about a year ago.
Overall I am in good health, with excellent blood panel results, low cholesterol, etc; other than minor high blood pressure that I've had since my 40's and I am now 66.
Fast fwd to two weeks ago and I suddenly developed nagging chest pains that sent me to the hospital. They did an EKG and I turns out I developed an AFIB condition, but they also determined that my chest pains were the result of two blood clots, one in each lung. Had I not gone to the hospital when I did and immediately put on blood thinners, the ER doc said I would have stroked out.
ER doc and my now new Cardiologist were stumped as to why I got AFIB and blood clots since I was in pretty good shape. ER doc asked me which vaccine I got, and when I said Moderna he said he's been starting to see similar findings such as mine, come through the ER. When I asked my Cardiologist if the vaccine could have caused my condition, he too agreed that the vaccine could be the root cause, as he could not make any other determination as to what brought on the AFIB and particularly the blood clots in my lungs.
On January 12th I go in for an echocardiogram to see if I have any other heart damage and to see if I have a suspected hole in between the heart chambers that could prove to be a bigger problem as far as the risk of forming other blood clots. The echocardiogram will determine which course of action to take to treat the AFIB and any other potential issues that may crop up. My Cardiologist also asked if I had received any booster shots and I said no. He said "Good and I don't recommend any more."
It was really refreshing to hear both the ER doc and my Cardiologist question the inherent risks of the covid vaccine.
Keeping my fingers crossed as to what the echocardiogram results are......
