What I gathered from the arguments, was that they were debating 1. Whether OSHA could be directed to enforce it. 2. Whether the federal govt ie congress, could mandate it. and 3. whether a states legislature could mandate it.

I think they will rule that OSHA cant mandate it, but that doesn't mean that if the fed or a state does, the will be in the clear when it comes to lawsuits. SCOTUS is usually pretty limited when it comes to rulings. They aren't going to rule on cases that don't exist yet.

I think I say 'I told you so' about 10 times a day. Half of hospitalized stats aren't really for COVID? Damn, sounds familiar circa summer of 2020.
Masks don't do crap? Wow, where did I hear that?
Lockdowns 100% unnecessary? I think I yelled this at my TV 2 years ago.
Shutting schools hurts kids? Give me a doctorate in psychology.
Why do we track positivity rate to justify shutdowns? Apparently I also majored in statistics.
Strange how the flu disappeared? Hey guys, it's back with a cool name.

18 months ago I was just a crazy conspiracy theorist that needed censoring on Facebook.

Next they are going to admit asymptomatic people really don't spread it much.

Don't let Harry J or SDCJ hear you, they'll jump in here quickly to remind you that we are just like the other side. We are just as wrong as they the other side. Yup. "both sides do it".

Except they don't.
 
Medical ethics:
1) Informed consent -- the right to say no without paperwork!
2) Patient Autonomy - my body, MY CHOICE - the right to say no without paperwork!
3) Non-maleficence -- FIRST, do no harm!
4) Beneficence -- do good. The reason this is #4 on the list (and there are more than 4 ethics) is so that we DO NOT have what is happening now which is paternalism where someone else is telling you what they believe is good for you!
 
Here's what my work is saying about vaccine status now and returning to work. :laughing:


If you are unvaccinated, it has been more than six months since receiving the Pizer or Moderna vaccine without a booster, or two months since receiving the J&J vaccine without a booster, and you have been exposed to COVID-19
Plan to quarantine for at least 7 days, get tested 5 to 7 days after your last exposure, if negative, return to normal activities.

It doesn't say how long a booster lasts.
 
When is the SCOTUS going to share their decision on this? There's a lot of businesses and school districts waiting to know what they are going to be required to do.

I've been wondering that myself, it's baffling to me that a decision hasn't been made yet and the lack of attention that it's getting.
