Vaccination mandates on the horizon.

It is election year and he knows mandates are very unpopular. He also knows he has his brown shirts in place in the health departments. Polis is pure evil.

Ours just came out: :mad3:
  • As the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues to evolve and we determine how to operate through the long-term implications, {company name} firmly believes that being vaccinated (or frequently testing for COVID-19) and tracking vaccination status will help us protect employees and make data-driven decisions. It will also ensure our readiness and compliance with the U.S. Department of Labor’s emergency temporary standard (ETS), pending the resolution of legal challenges.

By January 31, 2022, all employees must:

    • Submit their COVID-19 vaccination status to a confidential online system, launching next week; AND
    • Either provide proof of full vaccination OR submit weekly COVID-19 test results, and wear a face mask in the workplace.
      • Testing for unvaccinated employees will be at their own expense and must be completed on their own time, unless otherwise provided by applicable law.
Note: Employees at certain locations may be subject to mandatory vaccination requirements due to customer or government requirements (e.g., work performed at a location that is under a covered contract with the federal government). In these circumstances, only employees who request and are granted a reasonable accommodation will have the option to submit a weekly COVID-19 test instead of being vaccinated.

    Whats next?

    • Watch for directions next week to submit your vaccination status.

    • If you are vaccinated, ensure you have an acceptable form of proof to upload to the system. Acceptable forms of proof include a vaccination card (or copy of it) or a letter from your healthcare provider that includes the type of vaccine received, date(s) of the vaccination and where you received the vaccination.
      • If you have misplaced your proof of vaccination, your doctor’s office or the location where you were vaccinated should have a record.
    • If you are not vaccinated, please make a plan to either complete a full vaccination series (e.g. 1 dose of the Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccine or 2 doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine) by Jan. 31 or be prepared to comply with weekly testing.

I've already mentioned to my boss that I will need speak with him soon for some "clarification". Among other things, I need to know why I need to pay for this and do it on my own time, when that's not required for the drug test they require me to pass. Oh, and how much it'll cost me per year to keep my job. :flipoff: Then I can decide if it's worth it.

60 year old Cowboy with Leukemia overcame Covid, but not with the "approved" treatment. Stay clear of ventilators if you do come down with this "super-cold" insist on the treatments that actually work.

I'm still waiting on more information, but thought I'd post what I did get here, so you guys can see how other companies are going about this:

  • If you are not fully vaccinated, please make a plan to either complete a full vaccination series (e.g. one dose of the Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccine or two doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine) by Jan. 31, or be prepared to comply with weekly testing.
  • Testing will be at the employees’ expense and must be completed on their own time, unless otherwise provided by applicable law.
  • Each test will cost $25.
  • The cost of the test will be deducted from the employee’s paycheck.
  • Employees are required to use tests that will be provided by {our company}, which is consistent with our policies requiring employees to bear the cost of personal decisions.
  • Details regarding the logistics of testing will be provided in January. You can also view the policy and the Frequently Asked Questions resource for additional information.

Yet the vaccinated get and pass covid just like the unvaccinated. How come the vaccinated aren't required to be tested too? I keep waiting and hoping for a lawsuit over this.

So….. the employees are required to purchase needed supplies to do their job, direct from the company store, at inflated prices?

I feel this has been tried before.

P.S> i think you left the employer name in there

WOW. FJB Let's go Brandon.

98% of the people I know who got da rona in the last 6 months have been double or triple jabbed you feckless fuck. :lmao:

My company is still requiring vaccination for new hires. They have gone radio silent for vaccine mandate for current employees.

Well the emergency vaccine standard for employers over 100 people that was on hold, is back in effect. OSHA won't start enforcing until January 10th and February 9th for testing. Looks like there are petitions going to the SCOTUS. I'm off work until 1/3, it's going to be interesting to see how my workplaces handles weekly testing.

Funny people are excited for Boeing, but the above standard applies to them now LOL!!!

Vaccine BS aside this shit needs to be stopped ASAP, huge overstep for OSHA! Realistically it is not enforceable but sets a really bad precedence on regulating workplace safety issues that don't even originate at work. Additionally this is nothing but a push by big pharma to mandate their products through legislation.

We just got 5 extra days of vacation across the board as an attempt to keep people from leaving.

the only communication we’ve gotten regarding a mandate is not to implement one. if it survives ALL legal challenges they would regroup and go from there.

They did an informal check to see what peoples thoughts were on the vaccine several months ago, and I hear the results weren’t pretty.

From the town hall with the company pres Thursday there are kind of in a holding pattern but pushing for everyone to get vaxxed or exemptions. if you aren't either then on 1/5/21 you are terminated. and even if the injunction on mandate for fed contractors goes thru you would still have to submit to testing or need proof of vax to enter the building since it's a Fed building. :flipoff:

Our company is sticking with vax proof or exemptions by 1/18 or get fired. They have been really harsh on accepting exemptions too.

A co-worker had what seemed to be a legit medical reason, they denied it, and wouldn't even explain why as it was deemed 'confidential'.

Fucking assholes
