We have a fleet of trucks, hearing dealers aremt giving shit on trucks with over 100k miles because them/banks can't finance them to buyers anymore. So they are straight auction trucks now.

Anyone else seeing this? It's going to piss off and make happy several different segments of the population

My 2017 denali 6.2 just hit 36k miles. Wanna buy it? 😆

I got a solicitation from my local Ram dealer where I have all my servicing done offering me $21,xxx trade in. It has near 182k on the clock. Even if they do give me that much, a $62k truck is still going to be a $40k loan.

No. Who are y'all hearing this dumb shit from?

Strait auction trucks... so they're still being bought by dealers to retail and finance :homer:

EVERYONE is preparing for the looming recession. Trades across the board are slowing. High MSRP on new vehicles is the only thing propping up used vehicles.

I hope you’re right. Where are these auctions? I’d like to pick up a 6.2 12-16 ish f250 but they are all 15-20k on marketplace for one that’s had it’s ass kicked for 300k

I can't wait until Carvana collapses and knocks a big chunk out of the market :flipoff2::lmao:
I don't even know how this shit happens. They lost like 8 BILLION or something crazy, then borrowed like 5 MORE and dumped it all into the second largest auto action house in the US.

When they fold, it's gonna leave a mark. Wish I could have waited on my truck, but I'm too dumb.

That's only like $500 a month on a 84 month loan

Better yet, home equity loan :homer:

Local hardware store sells the flathead screwdrivers for less than $5.

Dealers telling us this. 3/4 ton with 107k on the clock saying it's going to auction if it's a trade in
That’s how they lowball. I just looked at a small GM dealer close to me and I’d say half the used cars are over 100k miles. All kinds of makes and all very expensive.

You left or right handed?....:smokin::flipoff2:

Put it this way it's the "thieves" choice to steal.. off with a hand.... you'll/thief will think twice before stealing again.. fuck around and find out...

People can make a weapon full_auto... do they go around spreading it , no!!!

Let's all give idiots stupid ideas.... not that they don't have enough stupid ideas as it is... let's just add to the stupidity...

Hell my 95 Z-71 had bad door tumblers in it. Could unlock the door with anything that gave you a grip on the cylinder. My trick was to not tell people about it.

I'm amazed how many people still favor the Superdutys even after years of Ford ignoring the security issues.

Sell them yourself instead of trading them in. Dealers want to steal trade ins, that's where they make their biggest money.

Or call purplewave and auction your fleet trucks there. The auctions I'm watching are still bringing good money... At least if it's something I want to buy.

How does this work? my 09 has a chipped key, i had a key made without the chip and it won't start the truck. Is there a way to disable the chip reader?

Fify, I can unlock any of my chevys with pretty much any key :homer:. '03 & oldet.

I‘d love to see sane truck prices again. I actually like the ‘17 + Super Duty body style, and figured one day they will be in the “reasonable price range”. Here is where they are sitting currently, $56k for a 5 year old truck with 100k miles. I ordered a brand new 2007 Duramax LTZ for less than that. :homer:

What I’m worried about is with this massive EV push all of the “last gen” big internal combustion engines are going to hold onto their values like the pre - DPF diesel stuff did.

:edit: just found a few that are nearing being somewhat worth it with the 6.2L gas engine, coming down just under $40k.

All I want is a 99-03 7.3 cclb srw...anything to make decent ones still available more reasonably priced, ill take it.
You and every other idiot.

You missed the boat. They're not making them anymore. And they turned new diesels to shit so demand will always outstrip supply and prices on decent ones will always be stupid. It's just how it is.

If you start talking about dually cab and chassis or single cab longbeds the supply to demand situation gets quite a bit better.

I just saw a few 19-20 Superduties with the 7.3 on fbmp for 35-45k. The one for 45k was a Tremor package and had 80k? Mi.

I'm thinking we might, but trying to shift some units around. The 3/4 ton with 107k would stay to get rid of the piece of shit F150 king ranch with 96k thats been babied and can't stay out of the shop.

I've got to do some investigating but something about cam adjustment on it that cost like $8k? I don't know, the fords we own have all been pretty bad
