Ok so I have a 2001ish E359/459 D70 rear with 8 lug and disc brakes. They have a parking brake on the inside of the rotor and I am wanting to rig up a mechanical parking brake for this thing. Now I have none of the cables so I am wondering does anyone know of The end of it uses a ring and a hook on the parking brake. looks like this Also they don't need to be universal but I would run the cables up along my 60" lower links to a linkage with a single cable up to the lever to engage them.

You should be able to just buy parking brake cables for an E-series cab and chassis van. Rockauto says the rear right is 123" long which should be enough.

You probably already know this but the cable will last a log longer if you just throw some big loops on the arms and let the casing bounce around in there rather than if you hard mount and force all the angular change to happen in the 1ft of cable that makes the frame to link and link to axle jump.
