Ultimate Adventure 2022

Find 10 to show up, are road worthy for 1500+ road miles in a week, and like i said before I'd be surprised
Be pretty easy if the trails were trail rig trails instead of buggy trails. Lots of POSs out there that could go 2k or more with a couple random little fixes along the way.

Just make it happen, I'm not trying or going to start a pissing contest.
Ua is no trailers, my west coast run

Was left open, YES I'M driving my dd no it's not a hammers winner:flipoff2:
But I left it open, it's just my opinion that driving to the trail and home is harder than taking a gazilloin dollar buggy on a trailer :flipoff2::flipoff2: see what I did there:grinpimp:
My point of "10" is 20+ pitas on wheels takes some fun off the trail but replacing it with "in camp " shenanigans  works also...

My bad i meant to add this at the end of my post:flipoff2:
Not trying to be serious
Anyway I'm involved in the Midwest group right now. Cali is too far for me to drive...
My rig is still on jack stands anyway, i probably won't have any testing miles on mine if i even do make it:laughing:

seems like they pull that off re: UA... :flipoff2:

Why start so big? Try 10 rigs and 500 miles. No reason to try and do what has taken 20 years to develop by UA.
Good idea. In the Midwest group they're thinking only 3 parks and all are within a few hundred miles, but I'll switch to the southeast group is someone steps up and creates a run, hell if possible I'll run both of them:laughing:

no worries bud.
Hell, Ifin I had the funds, I'd be at all 3...
Lifes little pleasures are knowing what you got, and liking it 😉
Cool to see these happen for sure.

Did you set dates? If I’m not able to go a friend of mine is taking longfranks most likely.

TIMMAY! I would bet more rigs on this site are not highway worthy than are. Anyone that wants to highway their rig on this trip is more than welcome.
The truck I took was barely highway worthy and untested offroad. that made the trip wayyyy more fun to me. Being surprised you made it to your destination while suffering from hearing loss and fatigue is a far better feeling than pulling into a parking lot with your trailer. It's what seperates UA from a plain ol wheeling trip.

That being said, ill be loading my trailer tomorrow to go wheeling this weekend.

Here is the closest to setting up a date so far..
I'm sortta holding out for more input tightening up a date. I could just say 00/00/23 ( might have to)
but I don't want to lock out to many guys availability...

You're on the list, I'll post a separate thread for this is the run dates and members list early summer.

posted elsewhere in ibb u.t.a.

Sierra Trek is the 2nd week of Aug. 10-13.
This should be a bellwether for the snow( maybe) as they usually have the most participation when not covered in snow.

We should aim for that week of Aug. (eta 14-21)
Say aim to hit 4 dice on Monday 14 Aug After the rockstackers are done:smokin:

Anyone know how to get the pge projected flow information?

Fordyce 5-7300'
Barrett 7668'
Highlanders update the website around early July, for late July early August opening

This basically sums up why I don't have a trailer for my junk, minus the hearing loss and fatigue, my trucks fairly quiet, has Cruise Control and AC.

Plus I'm a cheap fuck and don't want to buy a tow rig and trailer and I wrench on my truck less than people wrench on their trailers :lmao:

Not that it’s impossible, but it’s difficult to fully tag a buggy. Mine is tagged for my town and I can drive it anywhere in the county as long as I dont drive on state or federal highways. I can cross them. We do have one exemption because in town the only way to get from the South side to north side is cross a bridge on a state highway. We are allowed to go from the the first side road on the south to the first side road on the north.

I do plan on making my Jeep street legalish and kinda roadable. But that may be for next year.

All the duty cycles. My friend has a Scout 2 he rebuilt the 345 and put gm tbi on it. Last I talked to him he is building an intake and putting all LS injection and ignition on it. He is a smart guy that does it all with almost no money. I remember with the tbi he cut an IH and GM distributor in half and put them together to make it work.

This is the thread that gave me the idea. Now I am going to make it happen. Any of you are welcome to join.

That's a tight week for work, but I may be able to swing it. Great motivation to finish my swap and get back on the road.
