The boomer generation seems to keep the tv plugged on government and WEF funded news stations 24/7. My parents (gen x) and my inlaws (boomers) always have it on. However they are conservative thinking people. But the older they get the more socialist ideas I see working in their brains.

My parents are boomers and they are all about fox so at least their retardation is milder than most. :laughing:

The script has flipped in recent years, whenever I'm over there they'll end up talking politics and I have to ask them why things matter besides because someone on TV told them to be outraged. I always tell them to get outside and talk to people and they'll find out the world isn't as bad as they're lead to believe.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — After hearing Josh Shapiro might be Kamala Harris's pick for Vice President, Democrats worry his name on the ticket might cost them the all-important "Death To America" vote.
"I think Josh is very qualified to be Harris's VP pick," Chuck Schumer told the press over the weekend. "I do worry he might discourage those wishing to obliterate the U.S. and wipe Israel off the face of the Earth. We really need those votes."
The Harris team announced it is nearing a decision on who will join the current Vice President on the national ticket. Governor of Pennsylvania Josh Shapiro is rumored to be at the top of the list, but some worry his Jewish heritage and past as an IDF soldier might cost the dems votes from those wishing to make the streets run red with the blood of Jews if it's the last thing they ever do.
"We really need those 15,000 votes from Dearborn, Michigan who want America to be eternally consumed by the fires of holy jihad," Schumer said. "We'd hate to lose out on their support just because we have a guy on the ticket who probably thinks Jews should exist. It's a real conundrum."
At publishing time, Kamala announced she was also considering just choosing one of the 9/11 convicts currently staying at GITMO, a move sure to appease America's more rabid antisemites.

My dad's 87 (from the "silent generation") & unfortunately has too much trust in what he's told on TV. We had lunch with him Sunday & he asked me something like, "Do you think Kamala Harris would be a good President (with an implied "yes" :mad3:)?". I replied, "No, because I've heard her speak and I've read up on her voting record as a Senator and also what she did as California's Attorney General and also as a D.A.". So glad he asked the question, because he's obviously being fed a rosy line of shit by the propaganda machine media :flipoff:

I was more trying to highlight that folks who buy what the newsies are selling seem to think Kamala is now, 4 weeks later, not a worthless piece of shit and embarrassment, but apparently a dynamic and intelligent person with leadership potential. Foogin' mind bottling.

I was talking to my former boss yesterday, who i really like and respect, to a point.. He's a good man and a smart man, but his TDS is insane. I called him yesterday and just kinda asked what he though about Kamala since she was installed without a primary vote, seeing as how they're the party all about "saving democracy"
He supported the installation of her, said if they'd opened a primary this late it would cause division in the party, etc.. :shaking:
So then I asked if he'd vote for the bitch that he admits sucks.. and he said "no i'm not voting for Kamala".. which shocked the hell out of me. I asked if voting for RFK or something instead, and he said "no, i'm not voting for Kamala, i'm voting against Trump"
I was like wtf? Then I had him explain to me WHY and the shit he came up with.. good lord.. I told him that if mental gymnastics was an olympic sport he'd get the gold.
In his explanation the only thing that made any kind of sense was that basically under democrat control, he gets more handouts as a former fish farmer.. so i was like ok so you admit you're just a leech. One of his arguments of why he can't vote for Trump was that he'd gone bankrupt and played the system, which not 5 minutes before he'd admitted that he himself was doing under this regime.. blows my fucking mind:shaking:

My mom was a lifelong democrat, because her parents were democrats, etc.. My dad, who she was divorced from when I was young, is now a republican, if he wasn't always one.. I haven't really asked him honestly. Dad, as a business owner, etc.. was republican as long as I can remember, and mom as a born democrat and teacher, was always democrat. I'm anarchist basically but gonna vote for Trump cus if the media and most of government hates the guy he's doing at least something right.
Anyhow.. mom is converted to R in the last handfull of years cus she buys groceries and gas, etc.. and she sees all the trans bullshit going on with the Ds. The guy running for governor in NC this year she says she can't vote for, cus he's all about abortion bans and all, and she's pro choice.. which sure i can get it, fine.. but i'm wearing her down on that one.. (I don't give two shits about abortion. why Rs live and die on that hill I'll never understand)
But anyway she watches fox news religiously now.. and she commented on teh phone earlier today that she's seeing a difference in teh white house press corps talking to the black cabbage patch doll. They're asking harder questions lately apparently.. and she noticed it.. They're not as gung ho leftist like they typically have been.
She said maybe they're actually being more centrist or fair and mentioned it to me (I don't watch the news really) and i said well maybe the media realizes the sleeping giant is waking up from other media sources and if they want a job in the future maybe they better stop the propaganda and actually ask tough questions. I might be totally wrong but one can hope.

I'm not saying that things are peachy keen at all. They only watch fox so all they get is that side of things. They don't have any centrist people to get info from that isn't myself or my brothers. It's all hard right wing these days for them which sure as fuck beats the alternative by a million light years. If they were fully fucktarded I would have far, FAR less interaction with them. At least they're open to the idea that things aren't exactly how they're being shown so there is hope for them yet.
