What's new

The Grand Tour

I would be astonished if they didn’t renew clarksons farm. From what I’ve seen it was the highest watched show on prime in the last two years. You don’t give stuff like that up. They will quietly renews him sometime this year and no one will remember what he said about that whore.

I sure hope so.

Or maybe Kaleb's Farm, featuring guest star Jeremy?

I said when all that went down and amazon said they were still going to air it and honor their contracts with him that they weren't gonna cancel shit.

they're waiting for the idiots to forget why they were mad and then they're gonna keep right on with their biggest show ever.

The JRE with the owner of Hennessy motor sports talked about the GT cast a little bit. According to him, he also wanted to punch that producer that Jeremey punched at the BBC

Those Excalibur's are truly horrifying. I drove one around the lot when I worked at Nissan. The whole front flexed when you turned the wheel. There was shit torched out of the unibody and the front suspension was scabbed back on a foot forward. It was not nice. The service manager wouldn't let them work on it after he saw it on the rack. He recommended the owner not drive it and to get it towed.

He cant carry a show by himself, neither can Hammond

I found James May toy stories as well as his travel shows to be entertaining enough. Richard Hammond had that engineering connections that was OK.

The reassembler and man lab are pretty hard to watch though. Of course, this website in general is not really the group they were trying to appeal to.

Clarkson's Farm was shockingly good, way better than I expected it to be. The other guys by themselves are kinda meh.
Watching "James May - The Reassembler" series really pushed my patience.
Yeah, they are much better together than they are separately most times.

Their banter back and forth and messing with each other is what makes the team work.

I thought "your man in Japan" was good

Very good. Didn't like the Italy one quite as much, thought he was a bit too cynical with '4th wall' kinda stuff, but I look forward to more travel shows. Some of the Toy Story ones are fun too.

Cars of the people is an excellent series.

Agreed here as well.

Hammond's "Big" series is pretty awesome too. The one with him on the island with the guy from Mythbusters maybe not so much, although my young nephews really liked it.

I've tried to watch May in Japan, and Hammond doing whatever the hell he was doing on the beach, and lost interest. May was slow, and Hammond was fake and hammy.

I dunno, maybe I'll give them another shot.

Just finished, definitely one of the better ones they’ve done recently after Covid.

Fantastic, I have been hoping for this. A couple of the last specials have had the same amount of laughs and action as a regular old episode from days of yore.
