I can’t even watch this administration. My blood pressure soars every time they open their mouths. Lies and double standards is all they are.

So all of this is happening and the general public is doing what about it? I honestly thought Americans would stand up more. Democrats are the winners here because when they were not in power they were causing a scene and when they are in power Republicans don't do shit.

Why not protest? Why not harass the fuck out of your senator or representative? Why don't Republicans make a scene in a positive way that doesn't look like the capitol building fiasco and looks more like a constructive protest. I don't know because I've never been politically motivated but from an outsider looking in I see a lot of frustration and bitching but absolutely nothing being done about it??? Don't get me wrong I am politically useless like tits on a bull but I really did have this thought that Americans would not put up with this shit and yet all you guys do is bitch on the internet and do absolutely nothing about it?

Pretty sure on the old site I made a comment that as soon as Americans masked up and bought into the propaganda I had zero hope if they ever came for our firearms. Americans will quietly hand over their arms and step in line.

My representatives have done the job I voted them to do. It’s the people in these traitor’s districts that need to get on their reps and hold them accountable and to rally against them.

From what I’m gather on comment sections there is stuff going down in Maricopa County Arizona and apparently in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. I haven’t been able to confirm what, but am searching.

I cannot speak to why others don't. I can say why I don't. Bottom line, I believe protesting to be a waste of time. Now, let me give you some framework to understand why I say that.

I strongly believe in private property and going out to break/burn other peoples stuff is a non-starter. That means protesting I would encourage and support would look alot like the tea party type protests of the recent past. Large crowd of behaved and respectful people, leave the place better than you found it.

Ya know what? Nobody pays any attention to that. Politicians dont really pay any attention to the cretins that actually do burn and break things. Might be used as pawns for some political battle, but whatever the reason for the protest is mostly ignored. Seriously, do YOU really pay attention to the protest-topic-of-the-day as they "spread awareness"? Nope. I already know about whatever it is you are swinging a sign about and your efforts arent likely to change my opinion. Well, maybe cement my position if I disagree with you and you act like a asshole.

So, I can expend a great deal of work and energy to organize a march, a protest, a whatever. The outcome is nearly nothing.

The only other reason to do it is virtue signaling or ego boost from doing the righteous. Now we are talking about things on the fringe of mental illness. Spending a day protesting to gather warm fuzzies singing KumByYah or KumByYeehaww sounds more like torture to me than something worthwhile. Skip that shit.

I need to go to work. I need to take care of my family. I need to keep the cars fixed and home repairs and all the other stuff. I definitely agree that political things (holding back the slide to socialism) is important. But I dont have time to waste participating in protest parties and similar bullshit. If you have the time and feel it worthwhile, hey, all power to ya and get after it.

In fact, it appears to me that politicians dont pay attention to letters, phone calls or any of that other crap either. I think they give real good lip service to it when in front of the camera, but almost no politicians actually go about fulfilling the constituency they represent. I say that because of the language always used when on the spot.. "I believe", "I think", "My opinion" all megalomanic kind of talk. The vast majority of politicians generally have come to view themselves as a mix of rock stars and royalty. The arrogance makes me sick.

In my opinion, a time will come when I will be getting off the porch. I see that time getting closer. I know I am already on more than one govt list somewhere, so saying this in a public forum isnt really so crazy. When does that happen you ask? Getting off the porch will result in loss of career, freedom and possibly life. When I am in the position where things are pushed by the govt to crush my livelihood, family, community and I need to walk away from what matters most to me in order to protect it, porch sitting is done. It is not my choice, it is not my desire, it may be necessary, but I will continue to hope and work toward avoiding it. Nobody truly wins if we need to leave the porch. Regrettably, I have come to peaceful terms with the possibility.

Meanwhile, I look for opportunities that I see have actual impact. I have participated in local government. I have spent years in youth organizations helping young people hear a different point of view than what they hear in school/parents. Other stuff too. I keep trying but to be honest, I suspect the battle is lost and all I am really doing is just slowing the inevitable. And if that is really true, there is no god damned protest that will do one little bit of good.

I think Newscume did that because they have a recall and is trying to make it all rosey now .

Maybe he realized no one gives a shit about his stay at home order, and he has the teachers union to deal with since COVID 19 is so dangerous according to him, Nanci and Joe that teachers MUST be 100% vaccinated before returning school to 2019 levels. You know...full.

.

Pretty much this for many here I imagine.
Well said sir.

Why not harass the fuck out of your senator or representative?

I do. Told him he was a disgrace to the office and I'll vote against hin in spite, and I've never voted for anything but red in my life. Problem is MJ hegar is an even bigger loon, literally shit sandwich vs giant douche. The following was the copy pasta reply.

The next step is walking into his office and calling him a two faced establishment cockbite piece of shit. But I'm not sure that would do any good. Everyone I talk to thinks hes a snake.

Thank you for contacting me regarding the certification of the Electoral College vote on January 6, 2021. I appreciate having the benefit of your comments on this important matter.

On January 6, 2021, the quadrennial joint session of Congress to count the Electoral College votes of the 50 states and Washington, D.C. was disrupted when demonstrators stormed the Capitol, fought with law enforcement, and attempted to disrupt our democracy. This stunning display of disrespect for the law is un-American, and those that attacked the Capitol should face the full extent of the law. I applaud the U.S. Capitol Police officers who stood bravely in harm's way, and am deeply grateful to all of the law enforcement professionals and first responders who deployed to help restore order. This assault did not succeed in deterring or intimidating Congress, and we ultimately reconvened and certified the vote of the Electoral College. The violence we saw only underscores the importance of our duty as lawmakers to support and defend the Constitution. Americans deserve better than the disturbing and avoidable episode that played out at our nation's Capitol. It is incumbent upon us to demand better from each other.

The Constitution affords all Americans the right to vote, and integrity of our elections is fundamental to preserving this right. Many Americans are concerned about the integrity of the election, and I share the belief that allegations of irregularities and fraud need to be investigated to their fullest extent. At a time when trust in our institutions is near an all-time-low, we must remain vigilant and continue to work together to preserve the right to vote and improve our election procedures. To that end, I believe that establishing an independent, bipartisan commission - much like was done following the 2000 and 2004 elections - to examine election irregularities and establish best practices is an important response.

President Trump's legal team filed numerous lawsuits across multiple states challenging the election outcome. I fully supported President Trump's right to challenge those results and pursue legal remedies provided under the Constitution, as well as federal and state law. However, none of the legal arguments or evidence presented by the President's legal team convinced the more than 50 state and federal courts that sat in judgment. Every single lawsuit was ultimately rejected, some on the merits, some on procedural grounds, but both equally dispositive. These lawsuits were heard by well-respected jurists - many of whom were nominated by President Trump himself.

As a former judge, I approached the certification of the Electoral College vote with the same impartial, evidence-based decision-making as I did my job on the bench. But as I said before January 6th, I do not view my job under the Constitution and laws of the United States as a court of last resort. I followed the election recounts and court cases brought by the President's legal team very closely, and determined the evidence and arguments presented did not warrant overturning the election results.

I appreciate having the opportunity to represent Texas in the United States Senate. Thank you for your comments on this important issue.

Sincerely,

JOHN CORNYN

United States Senator

I'm also to beginning to agree with evernoob about conservatives not getting off the porch. Theres a big difference between the younger liberal demographic and conservatives.

Liberal's have more or less nothing to lose. Bullshit degree they have six figures in debt over, dead end desk/counter job (if they have one), rent and dont own property. Fuck it, theyll make a scene over getting more free shit.

Conservatives have that "I've got too much to lose" mentality. And would rather try to slide under the radar with their rights getting chipped away on.

Sign dozens of executive orders without knowing the exact content.

- Introduction of gender diversification

- Changing words in favor of gender-neutral terminology and banning books and other literature if it does not fit into the current political agenda.

- Outlawing and criminalizing white citizens - Discrimination by law for white students - Permanent fencing of the Capitol with the guard of thousands of soldiers

- Adoption of a COVID19 package that doesn't even deserve the name - Destruction of thousands of jobs

- Introduction of a questionable environmental policy that is scientifically controversial

- Destroying and banning parts of the history of America when it does not fit into the current political mainstream

- Massive tax increases for small and medium-sized businesses - Conversion of the USA into a climate-neutral nation (glass dome)

- Bonus payment to detained criminals as part of the COVID package - Introduction of a non-transparent, chaotic voting system that opens the door to fraud

- Permanent border opening without supervision and control - Massive imports of drugs through uncontrolled immigration

- Legalization of illegals including criminals

- Legalization of violent protest if it represents the desired political direction.

- Prohibition of the culture of discussion in parliaments

- Dissolution of the Supreme Court through the expansion of arbitrary judges who have the currently desired political position.

- Monitoring and spying on politically conservative thinkers

- Influence and disenfranchisement of the states.

The sum of these points can only produce a centralized form of government. Is that the Great Reset with a global central government? Orwell sends his regards. Who actually rules the current USA? What's next?

And we arent even 60 days in yet

Much Too Late, the Biden Administration Admits Canceling the Keystone XL Pipeline Was a Mistake

One of the first things the Biden administration did when it came into office was to nix the Keystone XL pipeline approval that former President Donald Trump put in place.

Biden, who was being guided by his own hatred of Trump as well as the influence of the far-left environmentalists, did it without a second thought to the jobs and energy independence Americans desperately needed. The results of such a move, as we’ve seen over the course of the last year, have been catastrophic. And we now know that Biden is aware of it. They just don’t want to say it out loud.

2 years ago today, President Biden killed the Keystone Pipeline with the stroke of a pen.
Thousands of jobs lost and countless lives ruined – all to appease the climate radicals in his party.
Tragic.
'I literally cried': Former Keystone XL workers still reeling two years after Biden axed pipeline
— Senator Ted Cruz (@SenTedCruz) January 20, 2023

Via Fox News:

The Biden administration published a congressionally mandated report highlighting the positive economic benefits the Keystone XL Pipeline would have had if President Biden didn’t revoke its federal permits.
The report, which the Department of Energy (DOE) completed in late December without any public announcement, says the Keystone XL project would have created between 16,149 and 59,000 jobs and would have had a positive economic impact of between $3.4-9.6 billion, citing various studies. A previous report from the federal government published in 2014 determined 3,900 direct jobs and 21,050 total jobs would be created during construction which was expected to take two years.
But, it’s not just the jobs. This would have had a major impact on the amount of crude oil that could have been brought into the United States, which could have helped offset the energy crisis we saw in 2022 – and appears to be spiking again.

Keystone XL had been slated to be completed early this year and transport an additional 830,000 barrels of crude oil from Canada to the U.S. through an existing pipeline network, according to its operator, TC Energy.
[…]
“The Department of Energy finally admitted to the worst-kept secret about the Keystone Pipeline: President Biden’s decision to cancel the Keystone XL Pipeline sacrificed thousands of American jobs,” [Sen. Jim] Risch said Thursday.
“To make matters worse, his decision moved the U.S. further away from energy independence and lower gas prices at a time when inflation and gas prices are drastically impacting Americans’ pocketbooks,” he added.
“The president must turn to American-made energy and jobs rather than dictators and despots to fix the energy crisis he created on his first day in office.”
The American energy crisis has had a major impact on the financial security of American citizens who were already dealing with higher prices across the board. And while the most recent Consumer Price Index report shows inflation cooling, the bulk of that came from energy prices dropping. While that might seem like a good thing, prices are still far higher than they were when Biden took office, and, what’s worse, they seem to be on the rise again.

The national average for a gallon of gas is now a little over 30 cents higher than it was a month ago, according to AAA.

RealClearEnergy points out that it isn’t just the Keystone XL pipeline decision that is making things worse – the left has chosen a series of policy moves that have hurt Americans.

Two years into sowing its Green New Deal policies, the administration is reaping a bitter harvest. Due to Biden’s folly, oil, natural gas and electricity prices have more than doubled in just a single year. Meanwhile, more than 28 percent of Americans abstained from purchasing food or medicine to pay an energy bill in 2021. And now, the misnamed Inflation Reduction Act includes wind and solar spending that will cost Americans $369 billion.
If the president and his Democratic allies in Congress refuse to heed lessons from the past, they have a rare opportunity to view an even more desperate future of what will certainly come to pass by staying on the same irresponsible course.
We can see the results of such policies in Europe, where several countries are not only struggling to make their commitment to cutting fossil fuels work, they are outright reversing them (and without increasing their emissions).

The Democrats have hurt Americans with these policies, and the Department of Energy report admitting it was a mistake (even if they don’t outright say it) is a sign that they know it. But, just because they know it doesn’t mean they’ll change their minds.
