What's new

Stupid shit we see thread

Not a chop, i took this and made the guy fix it.

thru or through

how did it get fixed?

Next up is this.

I am a car guy, much more so than an off road guy even though I do love off roading.

I respect the build on many different types of vehicles even if it is something i am not into

Squatted trucks and these stanced cars I don't get and think they are so fucking stupid.

We are having a big show right now for these cars, they are everywhere

Have I just become a boomer? Is yelling at the clouds next or am I right here and they are fucking horrible and stupid as fuck?

I'm of the mindset that you are not alone...
Slammedsport suspension is a lot more efficient.

Quick question Didn’t you own a bagged Audi or some shit that looked like that?:lmao::flipoff2:

didn't you just have a lexus something or another with a 2jz and it was "all cambered out"

I have become the appointed "leave a note under the wiper blade" guy at work. Extreme vulgarity with threats of property damage and violence has been quite successful. These bitches pull up to the block now.
Chalk bud, use chalk. It lets everyone see it - not all are privy to that private telegram under the wiper. And next rain, it washes right off. But, they really get the message and no vulgarity required that might have HR come calling....

no. I had a classic big body Lexus GS 300 that had air bags.

It did not have slanty wheels

It lowered and raised with the wheels still perpendicular to the ground.

Like I said I like all kinds of builds, but the useless shit I do not like, actually I remember hating the lowered Dulleys back in the 90's as I thought they wore useless as fuck thus made to sense to me.

Here is a pic of the Lexus, as you can see, not stanced at all. Able to drive like a normal luxury car when bags inflated. I never drove with it lowered, just at normal ride height.

got one of them, I don't like it because the v-packing gets hard, and the barrel is tapered for molding reasons
so if you store it collapsed eventually it won't suck any more because the seals are permanently squashed
My two look like grease guns.

The lowered duallies were not useless, you could still tow with them (bumper pull) no problem. Especially bagged.

Then what you complaining for

Most mowers that come through my shop have brand new looking oil in at the time they "die". Usually it's never more than 20 minutes to have them running like new again. I'll bet that 99% of any homeowner mower will go to the curb before the lifetime oil has any effect on it
Because it's stupid . Oil was a little dark and low, it got topped off.

The "old mower" has a 80s Montgomery Ward engine on it, still runs and cuts good.

Function over form, 10X/10.

CF panels painted or wrapped? Legit.

Panels wrapped to look like CF? Poser crap.
I mean I'm not above stuff that just looks cool. I have a jacked up truck that never sees dirt, and if I ever get around to getting it running my Reliant is going to lay frame (or as close as I can get it)

I'm all for folks doing whatever makes them happy. Not everyone needs to appreciate every mod. Art is subjective and everyone's a critic

I burned out on non-functional upgrades one year at the Oakland Roadster Show. Cadzilla was mind-blowing as an art piece, but then multiple top-tier hod rods w/ (same but different) billet everything and (same but different) impeccable over-the-top paint jobs just turned into . . . opulent "meh". I spent the last half hour admiring the lone garden-variety sprint car (stuck in a back corner as an oddball / outcast) because every piece on that car needed to be there.

So what's the practical application of the Lexus lowering down when you park it?
