Everyone wore those cloth ones for sooo long. I had one in the glove box for places you had to wear one, and put it on back in April when I went for my shoulder surgery. The hospital wouldn't allow it because they said they didn't work, and gave me one of those surgical ones. Funny how that works. It is all you saw for a while, now the hospital won't even allow them. :shaking:

That may as well be my neighbor across the way. He even wears one of those go to hell hats frequently.

Yet when you live next to a forest fire they will tell you the surgical ones wont stop the smoke. You need a good fit on a N95 or better and a respirator is what they recommend to anyone with respiratory issues. Smoke is a hell of a lot bigger than a virus particle, you can actually see the smoke. :lmao: I pointed that out last year during one of the fires to a mask wearing idiot. They just kinda of gave a blank stare.

My guess is the folks who are still wearing them, will literally keep it up for the rest of their lives, unless their news channel of choice tells them explicitly otherwise.

It takes everything I have to not ask those people if they are retarded. It gets harder and harder not to every day......
 
Probably a little under 50% of the workforce is still masked up here. Ramped up a little last week when they raised our community level back up to medium. Pretty much the norm, and no, they will never stop.
Rumors flying around that we'll go back to mandatory masks after the 8th. :flipoff:

It is rare around here, maybe 1 out of 50 or so in the store. Funny how these same people will give you dirty looks if you walk too close to them ect as well. If they want to be isolated from encounters with people, then they don't need to be in the store at all.

It's mostly chin, but the beard shape exaggerates it some.

You could set a coffee cup on that chin, even without the exaggeration from the line beard. He could use that pointy fucker to bust auto glass should he ever find himself crashed in a pond.

Not that it matters much nowadays but I had to take my wife around to various medical places. At none of them did they let her in with the society approved mask, they stopped her at the door and gave her one that worked. They may still do that, I don't go with any longer. They seem to forget that health care is still a business and I can't handle their full disregard for any common courtesies.

They still did as of April of this year at least. I hadn't been to any medical places for quite some time prior to that as I hate them as well. Not sure about now, but guessing it is unchanged.

We have people still wearing them too but it is more like 10% and almost at random. On one day off the next.
Don't think anyone else has the appetite to go mandatory ever again.
 
I went to see my doctor a couple months ago. They had an old lady at the front door of the building handing out masks. everyone in the waiting room and the receptionists were wearing them. When the nurses would walk out to the waiting room, they would put them on as they came out. Once you got in to see the doctor, no one was wearing them. It was all for show.

I will say a surgical or cloth mask is damn handy to have on you if you have to shit in a public bathroom, works great when someone is blowing up the stall next to you.
 
I’m buying n95s and then reimbursing with fsa so I’m pretty happy with that.

The ones I can’t figure out are the people wearing masks but just halfassed. They have their nose out or the chin bra. I mean by this point fully commit or don’t.
