Songs that hit you in the feels

I believe. By Brooks and Dunn. It reminds me of an older guy in the neighborhood. He was like a extra grandfather. Retired electrician from fisher body.

Small sampler here.
We had a huge music scene prior to Yugoslavia imploding in civil war.

I can only listen to it from time to a time, gets heavy...

Yall are gonna laugh, IDGAF

I made fun of this "band" hard. Fucking joke of an actor trying to make lame ass pop music. Except this song. This song catches me hard. Fuck these brothers could have been awesome had they made more shit like this. Fuck the dumb emo video, don't watch it just listen. Also I think the 3/4 drum beat clicks with my autism-

2nd, I want this played at my funeral. I've spent a good portion of my life making fun of The Eagles... but goddam this is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard in my life. I'm posting this while refusing to listen to it because I know I'll get weird chillbumps and cry.

Somewhat eclectic, but powerful lyrics: Manchester Orchestra, "Top Notch". Here's the lyrics because I know you probably won't take the time to listen:

________________________________________________

There's two twin deaf kids and they've gotta make
An ungodly decision
They decide which one gets to leave this place
And which one will forsake it, to make it

So, the first kid says in his temporal tone
I don't think there's a way to resolve this
We should wrap both these towels round our blistering bones
And wait it out in the closet

His brother looks him up and down and prophesizes
How all of this should end
He said they're buried underneath the yard
And no one ever listens... or visits

All that I know, 's no way to fix it
All that I know, 's no way to fix it
All that I know, 's no way to fix it
All that I know, 's no way to fix it

Did it really matter how it happened when in the end
Cause when it happened, you react to it with this apathetic wince
So she tried to wash it out but that's a stain that won't dissolve
And we all believed in ghosts until you walked into the wall

So give up
So give up
So give up

All that I know, 's no way to fix it
All that I know, 's no way to fix it
All that I know, 's no way to fix it
All that I know, 's no way to fix it

If you want to hear it, I recommend this live set - it is the second song.

Figured I'd put this here.

I have 60gb of songs on my phone and i usually leave it on random and this song came on tonight. Always think of my friend drew when this comes on. Grew up together on the same block. Did everything together as kids. high school rolled around and we started on different paths. I was into cars and computers and he was into drinking and drugs. We would see each other from time to time. He came to my moms funeral. Well you can only live that life for so long before it catches up to you. His passing was expected but hit me non the less.

RIP Buddy

It's so nice to listen to this song at full volume. I'm immersed in this world of bass and graceful sound. I love playing this song when I'm going somewhere
