Show us your Dodge

My 2003 2500. Bought it in 2005 and it has 285k miles on the tick tick ticker. 1st motor died at 104k and #7 dropped a valve about a week after payoff. It's worked it's whole life.

Mine isn't a Cummins, it's a 5.7L Hemi V8. The only big issues I have see with the Cummins trucks lately is people bringing in modified trucks for service on the very systems they modified. Stupid. I think we did a water pump and thermostat on a '15 with a lot of miles a few weeks ago. Most of the Cummins trucks that come through the shop are just for oil changes or some sort of recall.

I can imagine why. I would think twice even for an oil change. I did go in and have them chalk the recalls off my dodge diesel. I had to sign a waiver. No way do I want my truck honking while in reverse with the door open. They can keep the rest, I have my own puter and tune or detuned mine my way. Not their's. No way in hell I want a dealer near mine. My tranny is an allison. I changed to E lockers front and rear got rid of the two piece drive shaft dumped the small turbo they had in it 100% over injecters. Heavy valve springs. Changed out the cam to dump pollution controls. And in arizona I get to fly my way.

My 73 Power wagon. Eventually it will be set up to cruise around the desert.

A 75 Power wagon we are building for my 16 year old

Is your blue truck 6 lug, or an optical illusion, looks like it should be hiding 2 more lug nuts behind the front hub:confused:

Its a 5 lug half ton. The angle of the picture does make it look like a 6 lug though

Here's mine, 04 1500 72k miles 5.7 hemi
It was built when new into a bgtl that could actually wheel, d60 front, free spin kit, 35 spline, Detroit, 488s, cage radius arms, 16" coil overs, hydro assist, AAM rear with deavers etc.
Somebody else built it, somebody else wrecked it, I rebuilt it, tried to lower it, but the geometry is "right" for bgtl, so I've only put 1000 miles on it in 8 years, and never took a girl out because I didn't want her to think I had a little pecker
I put the crane on it and used it for tearing trucks apart.
Now I want a family wheeler, so this fall I'll put the crane on something cheaper and lower this one. I ran 37s on my stock obs f350, and run 315s on my 2500hd with torsion bars cranked and bumper trimmed, I want it low. My 8yo son is devastated:laughing:

Yup, 5 on 5.5", the '75 should be the small bolt pattern though with the NP203.

just drug this home.

360 stroked to 408
4.56 gears f&r
trutrac front
detroit rear
35" falken

need to add a better family cage. get rid of the crappy push/pull steering. build a spare/jack/fuel can mount off the back bumper. maybe some deavers/better shocks. and then it's time to hit Big Bear and other local socal trails that don't include the hammers.

If it still has the 9 1/4" under it, count on it giving you trouble.

I've heard you preach your hatred for that axle for years, but mine has never given me any problems lol.

Duane

It's not "if" but "when". :D

Well, the one I saw come apart dropped the cross pin at about 35mph on ice, locked up and threw the truck sideways, I was on the inner tube holding onto the tow strap:laughing:

that's when that one came apart

If it still has the 9 1/4" under it, count on it giving you trouble.

still has the 9-1/4, with locker. gonna run it until it blows up then toss a sterling 10.25 or van d60 under it.

I know the d44 front is going to struggle with 35s and the overall weight as well. just gotta not drive like a jackass and hope it lasts long enough before a d60 needs to find its way under.

Had a build page on PavementSucks and Cardomain 15 years ago when I built it but I have no idea how to navigate that site anymore.

1 Ton D60 locked front and back - 5.38 - 35 spline - custom long arm setup and hydro assist - 16" king coilovers - bobbed and dovetailed - tons of custom work, etc, etc, etc,

The orange truck is an 81 model that my grandfather give me when I was 15. I'm 39 now and still have it. It is what began my love affair with Mopars. I have had so many over the years that I have lost count. The blue Ramcharger was the 2nd cleanest one I've ever owned. I've had 3 of them. The 1st one I ever had was the cleanest one I've ever seen. Like a dummy I sold both of them. I also had a 74 that was a factory 360 4 speed 4wd. I will post some pics of other various Dodges that I've had over the years.
