I think Trump picked Vance as a wage against another assassination attempt. Kind of a “if you don’t like me, you really won’t like this Hillbilly behind me. ‘

Same reason Obama picked Joe.
Methinks they are grooming that fool for a future POTUS run.

What other politician that we've never heard of has an entire movie about their life?

I've heard interviews with Vance where he seems really smart. I just don't think he was ready for this. He's coming across about like Kamala did in '20.

I can't wait to hear what Whoopi Goldberg and the View have to say about this....
I double dog dare anyone to put up with an hour of the View! :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::stirthepot::stirthepot::stirthepot::stirthepot::stirthepot:

It was a funny soundbite, but I think he could’ve done better.

He should about how she was unqualified and how bad her track record in ca was how she was taking jobs from other educated minorities. Then finished with are you sure she’s even black last I checked she was being lauded as the first Indian, dot not feather, senator. Why has she all of a sudden switched ethnicity’s unless it’s take away from the accomplishments of actual hard working black Americans like yourselves?

You have any interviews or clips? All the things I’ve seen are taken out of context but he definitely plays at what he’s not.

I know someone who sees him semi regularly and they said he’s a “stuck up dick.” Not really surprising considering his politician.

This shit ain't it. He's gotta stop this shit. He has his base. They're gonna show up for him. He can't do this shit that's gonna turn off moderates and possibly turn away minorities. I don't think the Dems can win in November but Trump can absolutely lose. And right now he's out there throwing pick sixes.

Basically, if it's something that excites the IBB he shouldn't be saying that shit right now. Kamala will do some dumb shit. She's gonna have some awful interviews. She's gonna say some idiotic word salad shit. She's going to lean HARD into identity politics. Don't play that game. Focus on inflation, on how she unfairly jailed the shit out of black and brown people as a prosecutor and fought like hell to keep them there trying to block exonerating evidence, and focus on how she failed miserably as the border czar and how the crooked media is trying to rewrite history on all of that.

He is fucking this up right now walking past all the delicious low hanging fruit and playing right into their hands.

Disagree.

Apparently you missed his reciting of his laundry list of what he did for the black community while President..................in Chicago, in front of probably a completely black audience. He talked about how wetbacks are taking jobs from black folk. He brought up a lot of points that blacks would be interested in.

Kamala is trying to change her race because she thinks it will help her, Trump just shed light on that fact.

I think it was a pretty good response.

As mentioned he should have pushed the DEI thing harder.

Repubs need to keep this up...when a "journalist" asks a stupid question, demand that they show proof or define the assertion. Just like Tucker did to that idiot in Oz that claimed he only cared about white Murcans. Or however she worded it and he just hammered her on her lie.

We all know how bad Joe Biden‘s memory is, she was sworn in as the first American Indian senator by him when he was vice president. Years later, he selected her as the first black vice president. As to DEI he couldn’t pick Tulsi Gabbard. He couldn’t pick Elizabeth Warren. He had to pick Kamala. She was the darkest one.

Whichever way the wind blows.

He was never picking Tulsi. As soon as Tulsi bodied Kamala in that debate saying what was supposed to not be said about the candidate they were trying to prop up, she was basically done in the Democratic Party.

He was never picking Warren either. The actual ideological leftists get lip service and held up to try to court the left vote but they never actually get any power, in fact the DNC will move heaven and earth to rig their processes against Bernie. And those limp sucked pussies just take it and still remain loyal to the party.

I think Klobuchar was the one he really wanted to pick but the DNC is obsessed with identity politics and basically told him the VP candidate was going to be a black woman, period. They have this really racist and sexist view that as long as you put someone on the same race or gender as your targeted voters they'll automatically vote for those candidate. All in the name of combating racism and sexism of course.

trump has one hell of an apartment in some folks heads. he won in a landslide last time. we live in a banana republic. 81 million votes, highest ever. all done while winning the lowest amount of counties ever. total bull shit if you can do third grade math.

Na, he should have pressed her to answer the definition of DEI question.

Stating the terms of an acronym is not a definition.

Now that would have been interesting
From the more complete clips and 'reactions' I've seen, Trump did get what he wanted: the "journalist" eventually did ask "Was she selected because she was black?"

Indian cooking with Kamala! Video resurfaces, gives cringe backup to Trump’s comments

by DBS
Democrats continue to make race a major point in the presidential election and former President Donald Trump jumped into the fire at an event Wednesday.
Showing that there is almost nothing he is afraid of, the Republican presidential nominee stepped into the lion’s den with an appearance at the annual meeting of the National Association of Black Journalists in Chicago, Besides the technical difficulties and a delay getting him on the stage, Trump was peppered with hostile questions from the get-go and called out the unfair treatment.
But responding to a question about Vice President Kamala Harris’ heritage quickly made headlines and prompted a response from the vice president herself.
“She was always of Indian heritage and she was only promoting Indian heritage. I didn’t know she was Black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn Black and now she wants to be known as Black,” Trump said when asked if thought Harris was a “DEI hire.”
“So, I don’t know, is she Indian or Black?” he added. “I respect either one but she obviously doesn’t.”
Harris, who was invited to the same event but did not attend, shot back at what she saw as an attack.

Social media users were quick to dig up plenty of examples of Harris touting her Indian heritage before she became vice president. One example was in 2019 when the then-senator from California was running to be the Democratic presidential nominee.

Harris made a guest appearance on a cooking video with actress and producer Mindy Kaling as the pair discussed their Indian backgrounds.
“What we are going to cook today is an Indian recipe, because you are Indian?” Kaling notes, prompting an enthusiastic “Yes! Yes!” from Harris.

“And I don’t know that everybody knows that,” Kaling said. “But I find out wherever I go, and I see Indian people at the supermarket, on the street, everyone’s like ‘You know Kamala Harris is Indian right?’ It’s like our thing we’re so excited about.”
“We’re both Indian. But actually, we’re both South Indian,” Kaling went on to say, prompting Harris to announce, “Yes! You look like the entire one-half of my family.”

Big old fat nothing burger. That dumb bitch needs talked to like the idiot she is. Trump handled it like it should have.

Did he tighten the cap on her water bottle hoping she would ask him to open it or at least watch her struggle later on?

"They're taking black jobs..."

What exactly is a black job? I know what it used to be, and I know what he really means, but it sounds wrong and image is everything.

It'd be like saying Indians (dot) are taking white jobs... What are white jobs? The higher paying ones? Middle management? Now, insert Mexicans taking black jobs... The what, low paying, cash jobs that only the uneducated can get? That's what people hear.

When he's speaking to a black audience, or speaking about the black population, what he means is they're taking your jobs, black jobs that blacks have now and these immigrants are taking that away. The intent is not to have racist conotations to it, but that's what people hear.

EDIT: And even typing it out in the best I can to mean what I want, it still comes across as racially charged. This is a line of reasoning that needs to be moved away from and he needs to just speak about what he's done for the black community without labeling jobs as specifically one race or another.

"These illegal immigrants are committing crime, taking away benefits and job opportunities in our cities and towns. I fought long and hard to lower the unemployment rate amongst African-Americans, I provided the funding for historically all black colleges, etc."

It is not surprising that she wanted to be Asain when running for office in California and Black when running on the national stage.

California -
40% Latino, 35% white, 15% Asian American or Pacific Islander, 5% Black

US -
White: 60.1% (Non-Hispanic) Hispanic: 18.5% Black: 12.2% Asian: 5.6%

When she asked him, "What is a black job?" His answer was, "Any job". Now, I was watching it live and saw how it all went down. Him saying "all jobs" should have shut it down right there. I also understand that with some editing magic, the Left can turn anything into what they want to hear.

Better wording could have helped, but he cleaned it up perfect right then and there.

At least he didn't say "we finally beat Medicare".:flipoff2::lmao:

"Black jobs" are jobs that the BLS statistically characterizes are being held by those of black race.

It is a legit characterization.
