IS your cousin concerned about how this would or could affect his abilities to execute the office of the vice presidency of the United States or is he looking for kink tips?

Biden basically didn't campaign. Trump should get out there but stick to key talking points. Avoid the identity politics shit. Avoid abortion. Economy, border, and Kamala being a crooked prosecutor protected by crooked media. Over and over again. If he's talking about abortion and identity politics he's playing right into her hands.

Trump turned enough people off that they flocked out to vote against him just as hard as his base flocked out to vote for him. The shine of Kamala will wear off quick as she reminds people why they despised her in the '20 primary. What Trump needs to be doing is not pissing off people to come out in droves to vote against him. The people Kamala wil turn off will probably stay home if he can just stop shooting himself in the dick. But he he so often forgets that it's not just about exciting his base. That's what ultimately cost him in '20 and he's trying to do it again.

It is humorous, but I will agree with east_beast ....he should stick with how he will make the country as unfucked as he can. And let the other side bury themselves in their mish-mosh of competing identities and goals. They really could do a rather good job of eating themselves without too much help. And the less ammo Trump and his team give them to negatively sound-bite his words, will indeed work in his favor.

Fully disagree, to be honest.

This is a random interview in wherever city USA. He showed up, he will lose the city regardless. That state is going blue, yet he had an impact. Made people laugh.

Contrast that with whoever the dem candidate ends up being, how much time will they spend in a deep red city? Any chance they could have a "positive viral" moment with a hostile interviewer? Not a chance.

This is probably the best thing he could be doing. Save the bigger speeches for inflation/jail/foreign policy or whatever. This small stuff is just for this. Connect with people and be a real human.

If the majority of the crowd hadn't laughed, I'd agree with you. But if it went over that well with people in Chicago then he's probably fine. I'd bet people just seeing just the clip who would have been turned off by it a few years ago aren't going to be as impacted negatively just for the fact that they heard the crowd laugh. That goes a long way with people subconsciously. You can get away with murder if you're making people laugh while you do it. Especially if it's the majority laughing.
