As far as I'm concerned have an international committee oversee a legit vote in those territories and let the citizens choose. Russia or Ukraine. Run the votes. Sign the papers. Sorry, I'm just not willing to keep pouring tens of billions of dollars, shit tons of arms that are going to end up only God knows where, and flirting with WW3 over who controls the Crimean Peninsula and some provinces currently considered eastern Ukraine.

The goal is for the military industrial complex to play out their cold war fantasy of proxy fighting Russia in Europe. They get to watch their toys get played with, and gather up usefull data while not expending any American life. If you watch the NATO countries are basically offloading all their old shit into Ukraine and it needs to be backfilled by someone, us.

this is a socially acceptable way to pump money into it. Everything they're giving to ukraine will be replaced with new.
shit, look at germany literally changing their own laws so they can increase their defense spending.

"we stand with ukraine" is just a rally cry for "lets spend a fuck ton of money on arms"

Did you actully read it or just comment? They found explosive traces on debris around the pipeline, while it has been postulated that it was a deliberate event, now they have evidence of it being true

Or is that Russian propaganda? Why would Ukraine let somebody film that? Of course I think both Russia and Ukraine are executing POWs, after all it's an Eastern European war which are known to be down and dirty.

I would assume hoax without additional supporting info. Both sides have used actors in uniforms to "recreate" violations of the opponent.

Why would they while we're footing the bill?

Trump was wrong about a lot but one of the things he was right about bigly was the rest of NATO woefully failing to pull their weight. It has basically just become the umbrella of countries under U.S. protection.
