Russia / Ukraine thread

slightly off topic, but why does Russia do this? The've done it repeatedly for years. Just curious what the IBB has to say about it...

It's same on both "sides". You just don't hear it when the West does it. There's no fear to peddle when the West does it.

Just a reminder to us.

We do it too; but it's just that they can't pick up our aircraft on radar.:grinpimp::smokin:

not to mention that the alaska air defense zone is closer to russia than it is to alaska for a giant swatch of the ocean.

They're testing air defense response times. They want to see how quickly we react and what equipment we send to intercept them and try to gather any electronic intel they can during the action.

As others have stated, we do the same.

Yep. This way they know how many MIG fighters to send up to deal with our interceptors when the real mission comes.
It's also a great way to wear us down. Kind of like crying wolf. We have to treat each one as the real deal, and eventually there will be some fatigue and people will get lax thinking it's just another Russian feint.

Interesting 🤔
Russia has a real problem coming up. If Europe, and others, stop buying their crude they'll soon run out of places to store what they're pumping.
When that happens they'll have to shut down the wells/system(s). Lots of that is in areas of permafrost. Shutting those down will fuck them up
severely and it'll take YEARS to bring them back on line.

That sounds like a YUGE problem for them!

They also can just dump it on the ground and let it solidify as the temperature drops. Scrape it up later.

It's been done before.

I like this version of you much better.
You watch the youtube vids and bring the knowledge here and share it with us, in writing, just like that.
Thank you.

China is already upping the gas supply thanks to EU fking themselves. Theres a mega pipleline being built going to china now to be completed in a few years. Theres already one in place. The gas supply wont replace the volume of the EU but after EU freezes their asses off I'm sure they will want that Russian gas asap.

What could possibly go wrong

I just can't wrap my head around why no one is concerned about a nuclear exchange breaking out or at min totally cool with it as long as we "stick it to Putin". Think about it, the world could possibly end over u fucking kraine. WTF. No negotiations, no concern over this breaking out it seems.
well, I don't think the end of the world nuclear death clock has moved forward recently for climate change, so we are still a bit before midnight :rasta:

Sound about right.

The silver lining to this is recruitment numbers are down so younger people have been waking up to the sham of what the warfare state is.

In before a out of touch boomer tier rant about wokeness and lazy young kids.
inflation has had more to do with it than anything, the covid stuff hurt a bit as well.

and yes, the wokeness doesn't help either :flipoff2:

Europe can't buy crude for processing from anywhere else, the refineries are geared towards the crude they were getting from Russia, so I've read. Someone correct me. Think it was discussed earlier in this thread.

India and other BRICS countries are buying some of it. The Saudis want to join BRICS now, too.

I don't know about their refineries but they have been out shopping and there no oil to be found. Bungling potato head has found out the same. Russia seems to have the oil and that oil has been sanctioned. We best start drilling.

Is this also giving consideration to the countries that are buying their petroleum products?

Something about American oil is sweet and the refineries are setup to process high sulphur oil from the middle east.

The "bear" thought the "pigs" would be easy prey. Nice analogy. :flipoff2:

The analogy in the real World, you idiot, is that the War Pigs could poke the Bear without repercussions. It's the reverse of what you're thinking.

The Bear is free to roam freely across the World, while the War Pigs are hemmed in by their own masters.
