The Gov appoints a replacement that will hold the office until the next regularly scheduled state election. It doesnt matter what position the election is for, could be for state dog catcher. The special election will be held at the same time.

Im guessing they are waiting for the next election to get close. He'll have a debilitating accident. The Gov will appoint someone hoping the election is too soon for anyone else to get their name out to stand a chance. I dont think it will be the wife. With her running away and just her general demeanor I dont think shes very likable.

Since when does the steal have to be done by likable candidates? They just need to be Democrat Marxists. Don't even have to have a functional brain (Fetterman) or be able to talk good.
 
Hype over Fetterman making a Twitter(?) greeting for a Happy Juneteenth is making people pissed off because of an incident back in 2013 where he chased an unarmed teen jogger with a shotgun.

I'm results oriented. I can't change the fact he's currently in congress, but I can give kudos when he makes correct decisions. I also recognize some of the strongest conservatives were once democrats, Myself included.

What does that have to do with my accurate definition vs. your shit definition?

If "people" don't engage in critical thinking, then they are NPCs, which are . . . technically people. Calling people out for being unthinking idiots doesn't dehumanize them; their being unthinking idiots dehumanizes them, and "NPC" merely labels them appropriately :flipoff2:

Feels don't change facts, no matter how strong your feels are.

Is the "NPC" label a personal issue for you or something? :confused:

Dehumanizing them, by defintition, is labeling them something "other" than human; ie NPC. You're stating that they are not worth whatever you are because they don't engage in 'x' behavior - for you it's "critical thinking".


I'm not saying their viewpoint is correct mind you, just calling you out for having a shitty viewpoint.

You can disagree with someone, think less of them, and still recognize they're people.



Basically, what I'm trying to say is that by calling people NPC's, you're demonstrating that you haven't even considered their argument. Not that their argument is logically flawed and poorly thought out, but that you haven't even considered it, let alone disproven it.

By definition, a NPC hasn't thought their argument through and can't argue it on its merits or really explain why they feel that way much beyond "Trump said the sky is blue so it must be true/untrue", "Biden said the sky is blue so it must be true/untrue", "I heard on the news/email/etc that X EOTW level event will happen unless Y happens", "Trump is going to jail", "Biden is getting impeached", etc, etc, etc.

My in-laws both fall into this on opposite sides of the aisle and it's entertaining to watch, then feed them the facts that their preferred news sources "forgot" to mention that show that they are both wrong and the truth (as usual) lies somewhere in-between where both sides claim it does.

I assure you that I carefully and completely consider opposing viewpoints. If you don't believe that, your loss.

I'll gladly wear the "asshole" moniker if it makes your feels better, but fuck you if you think for a moment I'm a hypocrite.

Please demonstrate how you've thought through the opposing argument - for any viewpoint that you would consider worth calling someone "not a person" for.





Again, I'm not defending their stupid ass viewpoints and gullibility in swallowing whatever horseshit they've internalized via media (print, broadcast, or internet) or any side.

it's moving to the left, this sort of stuff is to highlight how progressives can still be "moderate" even if they vote lockstep with the party.
