How about a random pic and vid thread? Didn’t see one posted yet.
I know I’m just getting into this, but I have a few good ones. I’m sure there will be more to come.

mounted a GoPro to the car. Entertainment ensues….:lmao:

These wooden blocks came from some shipping tubes. Actually work pretty well with the 24th scale

I gotta know how you pulled that one off

EDIT: Nevermind, that one was pretty easy  I didn't realize how small Spreckels was :homer:
yeah, we're little. Anyone wishing to air a grievance with me in person could probably find my house pretty quick just by walking around town.

My daughter driving the trx4 that she helped build and me playing in the snow.

Fixed monster truck, took the fast RCs bashing with my 5 year old at the local park. Didn't break anything for once.

Ha! Notice in that pic how it's gonna land first on the same side that broke later. Coincidence? I'd wager it was already on its way out.

I did some research and there was a company called RPM that made some nylon arms for this truck that are supposed to be stronger than even the aluminum upgrades available for it. I hunted around on ebay and found a set for the rear for like 10 bucks. They should be showing up in the mail any day. I love how cheap RCs are compared to their 1:1 versions.

I'm gonna flog this thing til it breaks and if I can't find replacement parts anymore, I'll move all the new stuff over to a newer chassis.

Haven't been out in a while. My son and I went out to the Dells this evening. Mines the yellow one.

Youngest turned three. Got a wraith for his birthday. Took it out on a trail ride with some buddies at our local county park.
How much ‘seat time’ does he have. 3 seems kind of young. Is it easier to control because everything is slow?

He's had a lot of time behind the wheel. His brother is 3 years older and he has always wanted to do what he did, so he's been playing with and wrecking all sorts fancy RCs since he was about 2(including a monster truck with a big motor and 4s).

He blew some minds at axial fest when he entered their top truck challenge with his brother and one shotted a few obstacles. I'm not over here pushing them or anything, they just really like it, so I figured screw it- might as well get them decent gear to use. I still spend a good amount of time fixing his when he runs out of talent, but if he's in, I'm in.
