I'm spending on longer term stuff, or stuff I can add value to with labor, and hoarding the rest. I figure I'll need 30k on the low end to get my house "done" with builder grade shit
I bought a dump in the mountains for a retreat, but I'm in a holding pattern until after the election, maybe I fix it, maybe I replace it with a new mobile or a modest cabin, or maybe I park a camper there for the summer and tinker on the house at a slow place
I've got a new tow rig in my cart But that's not happening until after election
I also check the copper price every day to make sure I'm still employable, if that drops, spending stops
One time a guy said something pretty profound and simple "people will spend money if they think they can replace it"
There's probably more wisdom in that than 6mo of MBA class
