1999, 4.0 AX15, 231/ SYE, HP30 front, 8.8 rear, 3.55, 31's, my version of a long arm/ RE5.5" springs out back. Soon to receive some additional low key improvements.
 
Just finished up front 3-link and Super Duty swap, bump stopped in the rear but still need to cut rear fenders a bit.

I like those shock towers - looks like you "Wrapped" a piece of heavier gauge metal around the outer frame rail, over the rail, and landed it on the rail to avoid compromising the vertical seam ?

Yeah. The rail right at the motor mounts reduces in width big time so there wouldn’t be a lot to really weld to. The piece of steel I used to build off of was a 2x6 cut into a sort of J shape. I think it worked pretty well and should hold up great with the frame reinforcement plates and the cross brace between the towers.

Hey man,sorry I just logged back into this thing haha. If i remember correctly I want to say somewhere around 10” went from 7 to 5 slots.
