Sure. H2 or H3?

Actually, he said Humvee, as in HMMWV, which should be pretty easy to find for less than $160k.

Now that I do a bit of digging, most of the Hummer H1s on Ebay are under $100k.

Sooooo, yeah.:flipoff2:

Seller's Description

Mileage- 35,200Title- CleanTransmission- Standard 5 speed manual-new clutchEngine type- 300 6 cylinderFuel- GasBrand new windshield!Bad news, the odometer just stopped working. My boss informed me when he changed the clutch a month ago the jacket that holds the cables for the odometer was broken. He also only bought this truck at about 34,000 miles well over 15 years ago. So he's only added about a 100 miles overall (if that!) This 1991 F150 was a purpose built truck, not so much for recovery along open roads but for the use in big city's; with all those parking ramps, and narrow roads. It's quite difficult removing cars from those structures, and that is exactly what this one of kind truck was designed to do. This truck was a prototype and the only one manufactured. It was built to fit almost any small to medium size car or SUV. It won't work on tall pickup trucks or vans ect. This truck articulates just behind the cab approximately 25°-30° degrees to either the right or the left. Hence the round shape of the bed. It has an extreme low load angle for clearance, which also helps with ground effects, and low bumpers on modern cars. As well as total overhead clearance in parking garages. All functions are controlled with a wireless loadar radio controlled key pad. This truck is highly maneuverable in tight spots, and easy to align with parked cars in ramps. It has a self centering ramp\ floor to eliminate body damage when loading and unloading. The ride height on tail board is approx 12" in from ground. This custom built 1991 F150 is truly unique, and is worth a look. If you do this type of work in big city's this truck is made for you. If you have questions or would like to come see it in person please feel to reach out. I'm selling this for my boss and he will be able to answer any thing you might need to know. Front wheels in rear are limited slip. Rear wheels are floaters, and cab (front) wheels don't drive. We still have all receipts and paperwork for the custom fabrication that it took to make this a one of kind truck. Please reach out via a phone callSix one 6-eight 8 6-two 3 two 7 We also have some videos unfortunately there is more than one. I'll upload the one that showcases this truck best to Facebook and there will be a link to a google drive folder that has all the videos that could not be uploaded. These videos showcase all the features in action. 1991 Ford F150 Custom Ramp Truck Articulating - Google Drive

How to make a Furd even more unreliable.

Looks like a wonderful way to get in trouble with VA State Police with that kind of payload on an F150 chassis and taillamps that are 4' forward of the rearmost part of the vehicle. No reflectors or side markers on the rear either.

Interesting but useless compared to a rollback or trailer. I don't know what it was designed to haul, but it wasn't a car or SUV. Some sort of watercraft or small aircraft?

No plate or strobe either, I wouldn't be surprised if the description was accurate as to its intended purpose, pulling cars (or trailers, or?) out of a tight parking garage and getting them to where a rollback could get at them.
Could be that someone thought it would be a great idea and it wasn't.
Seems that the pivot cylinders are not overly strong from their videos on the Google Drive link.

I would bet against aircraft as you probably can't see well enough to not risk damaging them and boats I would think would be better moved with a tractor or front hitch (and if you were going to launch them, it would be 4x4, not just RWD).

Yeah, I was just trying to think about how the rollers on the back would be useful. They wouldn't serve any purpose for a car or truck, would probably make trying to keep one straight even harder. I didn't bother to look at any videos, but maybe I will tomorrow to see what that carriage looking mess down the center is. Looked to me like it would slide down the bed to hook to something, then draw it up on the bed, sort of like a roll-off truck. Someone put a lot of work into it, so it probably worked ok for it's intended purpose, but it would suck as a car hauler, so I am at a loss as to what it would have actually been used for.
