Panzers: I break rocks thread

Do you get to keep the product that comes off their demo spreads? Might be a day or two of free output, if nothing else.
This would have be the only real benefit. My guys will probably be running the plants so I would still have the labor into it.

Yeah that would be thing. I got all the black shit ready to be crushed. Not sure the portable stuff is gonna be up to the task:lmao:. My big shit doesn’t like it :lmao:. The Swedes will be like find me softer rock:lmao:.
"What are you talking about? This is just normal stone for the area. Build better machines, allis chalmers did it forty years ago why can't you?"

So an interesting fact Nordberg, telesmith, lippmamm and Allis chalmers were all Wisconsin based crusher manufacturers. They made crushers to crush the hard wi stone.

Allis sold out to svadala who in turn sold out to sandvik. The sandvik cones are all newer versions of the Allis cone.

Tough choice I would think saying no is worse than saying yes. Connections in the industry are always a good thing to have although if they are sales and office people not really sure how it would help you.

That’s just it. I would have to go and tarp up my wash plant don’t need too many questions about what I’m doing over there.

We had our tester guy trained. He wouldnt pull a test till he got a thumbs up from the guy feeding

of course :lmao:. Don’t need to be giving out trade secrets :smokin:/ it might be on the bubble of being ok to do or not.
And you don't need a competitor taking a picture of something that could be interpreted as being against your water discharge/runoff mitigation permit and sending it to the DEC guy who is trying to get his numbers up by citing anything that is close to being "wrong"

Or msha shit

And the worst part is, it will probably be something with the demo equipment that will be out of compliance...

Years back, sportsmans warehouse came to town...it was kinda a big deal. News paper put some pics on the front page of workers finishing things up

OSHA nailed their ass for people with no fall protection on a flat roof

It's really amazing the houses of people in that line of work don't burn down more frequently.

The look I get when the heated seats get too warm:lmao:

Yeah ain't shit getting done outside lately that don't need to be, -20 with wind ain't fun

I was helping a contractor work on our metso jaw and screen plant yesterday and grabbed a picture since this thread gets side tracked with random crushing stuff. It's mainly used for road rock and occasionally used to crush stuff before it goes through our Tomra ore sorter.

No Way would I invite strangers over to look at how I do things. I would pass on the demo and go visit it wherever else they choose.

Dad stopped by this afternoon and said I had a big decision to make. I was like wtf went wrong now.

It turns out Sandvik is not having a booth at the con expo this year. Instead they are doing big demos all around the country with their crushing spreads.

So our local case dealer got chosen to be the host for the demos. Today they asked me if they could do it in one of our pits. I’m on the bubble about this. Yes it would be neat to have 10 brand new crushers all running in the pit.

The know one of my pits has sand and gravel, a rock quarry and some recycle in it so it would be a perfect spot to demonstrate everything. I’m sure it would make it in some of the trade magazines.

Not excited about having 500 people come to watch the demos. I’ll have to think about this this weekend. My dad is all excited because he is a peacock, me on the other hand don’t want attention and would rather lie in the weeds.

I’m pretty sure I’m not gonna make any money off this deal, and it will probably cost me time and money cleaning the place up so it doesn’t look like a shit show.

I’ll probably get to meet some very very high up the food chain people.
I feel like not doing it has more down side (they go to your competitors) and there has to be some form of up side?

I'd probably do it:homer:
