What would be better to run the Flange mount style or the Regular CV u joint style?

What's better for longer vrs shorter?

This will be on a 105" wheelbase NV4500, NWF 205 ecobox, NP205.

Currently front had a square flange style I'd assume 1350? Was orig from a 94 Np241. The rear had that giant 1410 strap style which I don't want.

Both my diff pinion are pointed at tcase. So CV is a must.

This is my first venture into anything bigger than 1310's. So yes Noob is right.

Thanks for any input.

Figure I should have the yokes before I order shafts so I can size them correct.

So it looks like The front yoke I have is the Short 32 Spline Dodge 1330 or 1350 square flange, wasn't from my 241 duh. (same CV style just shorter). So I shouldn't have to change that one out.

Edit: Now I'm really confused going to have to go home and measure this thing, One website said 1330 or 1350 would fit that flange another site says its 3R inside style C clip...

I've already got one of the sloppy yukon 1350 yokes for the Dana 60, might even have a stock one kicking around.

So what rear Tcase flange should I go with?

Searching flanges on torque king says the front is a 1350. Id get another front flange for the rear. Then everything matches and parts are easier to swap around.

Ya, after looking at prices I think I'm better off just getting them supplied by Adams when I order my shafts. These gm/Dodge ones use a way bigger pilot than the aftermarket 2" pilot CV flange/centering ball. Likely makes shafts more expensive if they have to get the gm/Dodge 1350 Spicer/neapco flange.

Ya these chev/Dodge flange yokes are a 3.125" pilot. 4.25" bolt pattern. The long one is for front Np241 only Ash the splines are like 3.5-4" long. So it's useless. I'll call adams and see if they have the 1350 flange for the 3.125 flange.

If they do ill keep that on the front and put a 2" pilot one on the back.

That 3.125 pilot is most likely going to stick you with a 3R u joint

Ah okay, ya I'm going to leave it up to adams to sell me the right flanges I hope. Hopefully I can order it all through a local shop that deals with them and save on the retarded shipping charges to Canada.

I have a 1330 CV (2ndgen) and 1350 CV (3rdgen?) that bolts right up - proper 3.125" pilot.

Catalogs seem to indicate dodge switched to a 1410 at some point.

Can those be modified for more angle?

1330 did enough angle for me. I did grind a 3R a whole bunch to get 1330 angle. 1350 seems to do about the same; don't have a 1410 one.

I have a few I'll be giving away as soon as I find them, garagebis a mess not as just pulled the boat out to get a lathe out.
