I get those in the house too on occasion and they quick get the flying WWF boot stomp of death. Until I moved to Texas I had never heard of a wood scorpion and thought those fuckers were exclusive to the desert. I thought I was hallucinating the first time I saw one walk into the shop at work that is in the woods and surrounded by 80 acres of hay field. I'm thinking this fucker MUST be lost and came in on one of our drill rigs that was out in the oil field until my neighbor explained that it was a thing and normal around here. Fuckin Texas, everything here is trying to hurt or kill you, even the damn trees. :lmao:

Edit: Missed the babies:eek:..... Nope, burning the house to the ground if I see that shit in here.

the babies have been really cute. ive been bottle feeding them and hopefully their training will be completed soon. very loving.

Oh dear god. I have found one in this house in five years. Thank fucking god it didn't drop those things.

they are everywhere here. we try and spray inside and outside on the porch every couple months. we are in such a severe drought, they come inside to get water.

had one in the bed with me one night, which sucked but i didnt get stung. i hate getting stung... it hurts more than any of the flying insects stings. ive been hit several times over the last 10 years in our house. luckily the kids havent..... my youngest when he was about 2 yo, saw one and picked it up by its stinger, which was brilliant. it was just trying to get him with the pinchers.

we laughed. He laughed.

Ste had a morman cricket in bed with him and I thought that was bad. OMG I didn't know there could be that many scorpions.

With the number of cats, and dogs we have here I HOPE they at least point them out to me if they don't kill them first.

I've seen what little is left of them when the cats eat them.

Ste got stung by them a lot as a kid. He said it's like a bee sting. I'm hoping I don't gain personal knowledge on the subject.

At growing up in San Diego there was a nest of them in the ground somewhere near our house and we'd have one pop up in the back yard at least once a week. They would always come out at night and we'd know one was there because our dog would be going crazy in the back yard barking at it.

I think my mom finally unearthed the nest planting some stuff on our back bank and had like 10 all come out at once on her shovel. At that point my mom pulled the wife card and sent my dad out to kill whatever had survived her frantic shovel slapping.
