What's new

Ohio train derailment.

The Ohio River watershed is home to 25 million people and spans parts of 14 states.
rofl
that's all upstream from the river, what's downstream from the spill ain't much, just like half the population centers that get their municipal water from the misissipandgrippi

I'm not really seeing anything on this on other networks. Fox seems to be covering it. I don't see the gov rushing in to help. Seems like the gov is just letting the railroad handle it. But i'm glad mayor pete is pointing out that there are too many white construction workers.

I feel really bad for the people down there. How is FEMA not on the ground there? Where are the environmentalists? Probably not interested because phosgene gas is not a major contributor to global warming.

The governor has to declare an emergency then ask for their help

I’m 17 miles northeast of there. It was an interesting weekend, and then when they emptied the cars. The news was saying the toxic cloud was heading southeast, but it was all going to the northeast. Lots of pissed off farmers, some saying they have ash all over their fields. The first pictures are from my sister in law on her way to work. The last was from my in-laws backyard.

Man what a shit show. I thought that fucker just blew up after derailing, but then I saw they drained the cars and lit them up, holy fuck!!

“Controlled release”

Gretta would be mad.

a few more times than once.
more like a dozen.

Thanks for the clarification. :flipoff2: Another distinguishing fact is that the Leaping Chy Nah Carp are in the Ohio River drainage but not in the Great Lakes yet. Right ?
