Ohio train derailment.

"I'm the building supervisor, please leave"
@1:34.
Seems like a private building, seems the agent in charge of the building, seems attention whore reporter is like those "audit the cops" type of people thinking he has a right to defy the wishes of the person in charge of the property.

Now your turn. Where do you get your info that this is a government building paid for by our tax dollars?

Wasnt that a school or public Gymnasium? Or donmost private businesses paint Shit like “Be kind” and “Go Bulldogs” on the wall
Most schools gymnasiums have basket ball hops and clocks covered by wire cages. I am also under the impression that schools are not private buildings.

Maybe I'm wrong but watched from the beginning of the video you posted I see a major that was constantly trying to esclate a situation in which even the cops were trying to get him to calm down before the reporter was assaulted, something we would have been at a minimum trespassed for doing. Them after being assaulted he got mad. Well yea no shit there is a massive government fuck up going on. That reporter appears trying to broadcast and the look on the generals face, the way he moves, and his body language, at the beginning and throughout the scene tells me all I need to know about who actually created the problem. Reporters broadcasting during shit like that is very common. The Major was the only ine who seems to think it was an actual problem that required physical intervention.

Part way through the video a guy shows up to tell him to leave. Looked like he was the owner or in charge that building. That was not private property?
Didn't look like a public place, but if it is then my bets are off.
It was a fucking school you stupid fuck. Watch the videos. Read a bit of background before you decide to tell us what happened. Gad damn you’re dense sometimes.

There was an old WWII training film about derailing trains. It's quite a bit more difficult than it appears, when one tries to deliberately cause a derailment.

Probably not talking about it because they dont want the panic/outrage that will happen when people hear there was liquid phosgene on the train
That used to be in Brake Clean for years. I used to use the OG brake clean to the oil etc off metal before I started to fab something up from stock at work. Then I read a link someone posted back in like 2008 on the old site that was about a guy who almost died from accidental tig welding over a TINY puddle of brake clean in a fillet joint that hadn't evaporated. He was in the hospital, damn near died for like 6 or 8 months from one tiny puff of smoke he directly inhaled. Crazy shit. If that's what this stuff really was, seems like a crazy big deal to me.

there were all manner of industrial chemicals that were burning for 48 hours.
ethylene glycol something, butyl acrylate something, the PVC.
all of it bad and probably gonna give people cancer.

Yeah lots of bad stuff they don't want to talk about.

Yeah. Tetrachloroethylene. Still in the red can. Mix it with UV light from a torch or welder and it generates phosgene. I don't recommend it! Buy the non-chlorinated stuff.

The thing that really pisses me off is that all the liberal ivory tower types who were happy to ignore this for the first week are now pretending like they care now that they think they can use it to push their environment and union agenda.

That's what I've been wondering. This is some environmentalists wet dream. Ban all these harmful chemicals!! But radio silence. So who doesn't want the public to know??

Fuck I thought they took it out? Either way, I didn't use it for the same purpose anymore after that. The same job, not long out of tech school, I used to be the guy that got made to weld the manganese plating in the blast cabinets when it wore out. Shit job, but I was the youngest and skinniest. They gave us the wrong rods to use for it, but I could make them work with much pre and post heating. I remember looking up the best rods for manganese and the first thing that came up was, "Welding Rod Disease". Comes from welding manganese in poorly ventilated areas. Boss bought me a Speedglass PAPR hood after that. Kewl StaRry.

EAST PALESTINE, OH — Residents of a small Ohio town have been forced to evacuate after a deadly spill of vinyl chloride and butyl acrylate chemicals from a train derailment caught fire and destroyed surrounding farmland, waterways, and livestock. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg was quick to respond, promising to investigate the tragedy for signs of racism.
"First of all, I want to reassure the citizens of East Palestine that I am still very gay," said the Transportation Secretary. "Also, I will do everything in my power to uncover the possible racist source of this deadly environmental disaster. Yes, East Palestine is a small Ohio Town full of white people, but we need to know how this may affect BIPOCS. I will leave no stone unturned."
Buttigieg has also not ruled out the possibility of foreign governments behind the incident. "Considering this happened in East Palestine, we shouldn't rule out a possible war crime perpetrated by the state of Israel," he said.
At publishing time, sources had confirmed Bill Gates had purchased all the land around East Palestine for a great price.

:lmao:

When I was a kid we'd go through bottles of Carbon Tet (carbon tetrachloride) for cleaning anything to be soldered. It worked great. Always loved the smell. Then it got banned.

None of us ever got sick or died from it. Figure the constant blue haze of cigarette smoke canceled it out.

looks like im not fishing in ohio this year

The EPA’s letter states that “materials related to the incident” were seen flowing into storm drains.

Chemicals released during the event have also been detected in various local waterways, including the Ohio River, according to the letter.

The Ohio River watershed is home to 25 million people and spans parts of 14 states. The river ultimately empties into the Mississippi River.

here's the school surveillance video.

sure looks like he got told to leave after he appeared to want someone to hold the national guard guy accountable for laying hands on him.
