Now Milwaukee will Burn

Agreed on your last point. The cop's careers are over and they will have to move out of Wisconsin most likely. They will be charged with murdered to appease the mob and the 'victim' will sue the City for millions.

Most of the state isn't like that. Madison, Milwaukee, and Racine/Kenosha are all blue as it gets, but the rest of us are not. I would like to invite this mob to my little town to show some BLM love, but there isn't a bus stop out here. And they would all be shot.

BLM Burns Down Kenosha — A City of 100,000 — With Police and National Guard Deployed

Posted at 5:34 am on August 25, 2020 by Shipwreckedcrew

The only option tonight for Police and National Guard was to use deadly force — or just let the rioters have their way until they exhausted themselves.

They chose the latter. The Kenosha Police Department has only 185 officers. The Sheriff’s Office is significantly larger, but even if it is twice as large, that is still only in the neighborhood of 600 or so officers.

The National Guard deployment was only of 125 members, and the task they were publicly given by Gov. Evers was to provide security for fire and emergency personnel. The public announcement did not seem to include any support for law enforcement agencies dealing with the riots.

From the videos released onto Twitter, it appears there were several thousand protesters. Some identified themselves as having come from Milwaukee. If the local law enforcement agencies are not supported by other nearby agencies they will have no chance to bring the rioting under control. The rioters will decide when they want to stop. By the looks of things tonight, that might not happen until they simply run out of things to destroy and burn.

I fear it might not be a choice the police and politicians get to make tomorrow. There is an existential question being put before the people that call Kenosha home. Do they make a stand against the rioters and fight for their home. Or do they watch it be burned down around them, and then leave when there is nothing left. It is hard for me to imagine a community willing to stand by and watch their lives be gutted by fire when the police won’t or can’t respond. This is the territory that the law refers to as “self-help.”

The destruction in Kenosha tonight was wanton and widespread. There was no message or purpose to it....

I know Kenosha pretty well and nobody is going to do anything until they start burning people's houses down.

looks like they may have torched a few last night!

I'm still going with they want some people to "get off the porch" and start shooting :mr-t: up then crack down hard on evreyone.

wow... either stop the rioters or let them get tired, go home and rest, and do it again the next day....

I'm not on any side of the "defund police" movement, but if they aren't going to protect property, they aren't really of much value in this particular instance.

You can't protect anything from a thousand person mob with 125 NG unless you are willing to use deadly force. The Governor is only doing lip service just like ours did during the riots in downtown Raleigh. It's an election year

If they aren't going to use a force equal to or greater than the rioting, then they are of little value to the community at large...

Absolutely. Now they are emboldened because they have not been cracked down on in several cities. Same thing happened when they started in on the Statues. Pulled one down locally and they were not charged or prosecuted. So they went to the next one, and the next one and so on. Same here.

Pretty much.

Why do we have to pay taxes again under the threat of force if we get approximately zero in return on them?

I believe you would be correct.

This isn't the popo or the National Guard not doing the job. This starts at the top, the govenors directive and trickles down from there.

I believe this is 100% correct. The moment people start defending themselves with guns, the response will be "This is why we told you we had to get rid of the guns... the right wing is all a bunch of murderers, etc..."

And they'll likely win a good portion of that argument.

I think the tide is turning on that. If you have a giant armed party of "crazed right-wingers" (normal people) confront a group like this, I mean hundreds of them, there will not be a crackdown. Not here in WI at least. But this is not a very likely scenario.

I’m glad I live out in bfe wi. This shit pisses me off to the max. Burning other peoples shit down who spent their whole life working for it is stupid. This is what’s gonna win the whitehouse for trump.

Most of those people have never owned property and don't realize how much time and money it takes.

I'm not up north in BFE, but a small town on the IL border. It's sad to see what they are doing, but it's only to those horrible rich people's businesses, right? Nobody is going to do anything to put them down.

Patriot act 2.0 will come down and evreyone will blow thier load because law and order and the american people will get played YET again.

Watching last night between the cop letting off 3 dudes in an alley with rifles and then the national guard walking around picking up trash around the court house like a work crew while the city burned, opended up my eyes to this whole mess.

what's wrong with three dudes in an alley with rifles?

I wish they could get the names and addresses of the rioting assholes, post it, and let open season happen on THEIR belongings.

Eye for an eye bitches.
