What's new

New Ford Duallys are 6+ months out?

As much as any CDN provider is at fault.

I didn't work on the actual product, just plumbing shit to and from the customer portal where you see and pay your bill so I don't know the exact details of how it worked.
Plumbing shit TO a customer? Sewer treatment plant I hope.

Filled up and drove to town twice, still has 718 miles of range.
This truck is completely different from the 6 speed 4.10 truck.

If we're doing fuel mileage, 9.1 bucking a 20mph headwind towing 7000ish for 350 miles. Stopped for fuel twice but only needed to once. Wasn't sure where there was a good station once I got on 481. This is with tow/haul on along with the auto exhaust brake.

Only downside to the regular cab is the 24 gallon tank.

Mileage is cool too, I wasn't really trying to brag on mileage other than just saying this trucks mileage with the same fuel tank is WAY better than the previous "right amount of gears" transmission. The 10 speed kicks ass but it's not a fair comparison maybe since I got 3.55 rear gears at the same time.

Pulling I still have 400+ miles of range which greatly helps trip planning.

That should be criminal, 24 gallon fuel tank:eek:

Yeah, I would like more. I'd definitely be interested if someone made a 30-40 gallon tank for the regular cab.
Will the larger factory tank not fit/swap into the regular cab trucks? I know on some trucks it is just a matter of swapping out tanks, not an issue of the larger factory tanks not fitting.

It's hard to think that Ford wouldn't have maximized the size they could.

You would think. But I'm pretty sure it is the 20-teen F150s that you can simply swap the larger tank into, if it came with the smaller tank.

edit...yep, swap the 23 gallon tank out for a 36 gallon tank.

You get a C&C or pickup, can't remember
Pickup.

I do not think a larger factory tank will fit. I could drop the spare and run a saddle tank.

I'd prefer to not have one in the bed. The ability to use all 8' is much handier than I ever imagined. Plus, when camping, I'm planning to work on a water tank with a pump to refill. These tracks don't have hookups usually and they want an arm and both legs to refill your tanks.

Those titan side tanks that fit up in front of the wheel well look appealing, 15 gallons.
Might work with a non cross bed tool box.
