Anyone have the new bronco? Like? Dislike?

Drove one and its quieter and rides nicer than a wrangler.

I know the guy who is the lead service tech for one of the largest Ford dealers in the region. From what he tells me, expect significant electrical gremlins.

Oil pan leaks, front pinion seal leaks, entertainment screen bugs out on occasion.

I saw one of the tiny commuter broncos at a gas station the other day that sounded like a lawn tractor. The guy said It had the catalytic converter fail once and the second one that was on it had failed after 5000 miles

Yes, they have more creature comforts than a wrangler.

I cannot get comfortable driving one. Theres a little void between the column and hvac console for my knee. With minimal room on either side.

It's made for women and manlets.

I got a 21 Wildtrak fully loaded. The gas tanks are really easy to drill:lmao:. Overall fun daily driver for the wife. Had a few minor issues that were addressed by TSB's. The interior is like a cave at night, so i added after market interior lights. The few occasions we had snow/ice it did really well. Front three panels for the roof come off fairly easy. I installed a lift in the garage for the rear section.

Only put a few hundred miles on this one before doing stupid stuff to it but no issues to report. I want a stock one to keep around. The 2.3 EB with the manual trans is pretty fun! And they run waaaay cooler under hood temps than the 2.7 version. Stupid video was screwing around for Halloween that didn’t pan out.

Good friend has a sweet 2 door Bigfoot edition I think it is, but he says if he let's it sit for longer than a couple of days, it will kill the battery.
He's had it back to the dealership a couple of times and they can't figure out what's drawing power. Even on his 2nd brand new battery.

Wife and I checked one out. Could not believe how shitty the paint and panel gaps were. No where close to the quality of her FJCruiser.

The guy in the picture looks as puzzled as I am as to WTF is going on here? :flipoff2:

I heard someone describe the bronco sport as a Ford escape in an OtterBox. And that resonated with me

Seems pretty spot on to me, at least visually. No clue about actual mechanical similarities.

Thieves got interrupted and the gas was spilling all over. Fireman was just waiting for it all to drain out. My neighbor is a Fireman with the same precint and he says they respond to at least one tank drill a day.

To bad they didn't create a spark making their get away and they could have put out a fire (whatever the thieves were in).
