The CP4’s are only on the diesel trucks. These little 4 bangers have a high pressure fuel pump but it’s not an HPOP. It’s driven off of one cam on the back of the head and is just a cam lobe pumping a plunger. I broke the original one on mine pulling the engine out and not paying attention. So we took it apart to look at it.I haven’t kept up.

We got one for the wife to keep miles off her excursion. It's a fun lil thing to rip around town in. It's got the 2.7 ecoboost. She's getting 19.7mpg on the screen.I haven’t kept up.

After 7 weeks I finally got mine back from Ford. They basically cut the old diff mount off, cleaned up the frame, and welded a beefier one in place. Ford has issued a service bulletin for this now and is currently doing the same for a buddy of mine. Hopefully they also replace the diff internals that got thrashed when his went as well.
