It was a speed queen I decided to keep after all, not some gadgety samsung. SQ, you know, the one everyone here swear by. But I guess anyone driving a EFI car is stupid too by your standards

Not all of us live on a junky acre with old.shit laying around rusting away. The SQ spent a year in a half ass shed at my work not skipping a beat, but thats how it is, they decide to quit when you start trusting it. Like women. :shaking:

Sending the board out to NC for the 100 dollar repair.

Take the inner drum away from outer drum and see the slime....

I tore one used one down long ago and rebuilt it too save money, it was truly gross as fuck nasty...

Shit accumulated on the walls of the outer tub from previous owner and was a bitch to clean out.

Never bought used again.....

I took mine apart to clean fuzz out when a "machine washable" dog bed decided to not be machine washable. I didn't think the residue was anything to write home about.:confused:

Someone gave me a link on an appliance forum for an updated part number *Brand New* GENUINE Speed Queen Washer Control 1Hp SVI OEM Part # 807175P | eBay

450 shipped is not bad, better than shipping to NC, waiting, then shipping back. Ill update if that fixes it.

Apparently its a 5000 dollar machine and is absolutely worth fixing, so they said on an appliance forum. Well see. I got pretty intimate with it, so maybe Ill keep it for a while if this repair works.
 
I always buy used, look at marketplace in fancy neighborhoods in Lincoln (12 Bridges) or Roseville/Rocklin.

When one machine goes out the fancy people buy a new pair. Doesn’t matter the age. Last dryer I bought was near brand new, inside and out. Converted to Propane and I’m in $75 total.

Service calls, and youre better off buying new with warranty probably

I had to take my old Kenmore appart to remove a fucking sheet metal screw that I left in my pocket. Now I am fucking religious about checking my pockets. :homer::homer::homer::homer::homer:
