Hello guys,

This is my plasma table that I made 3 years ago, it is based on the well proven MyPlasm CNC board, 4 Nema motors, ball screws for Y axis and rack for the X, can cut UP to 2000x1000 mm sheets. Now I'm using an Hyperterm Powermax 45XP.

nice
why the gantry running that way? Just curious
Some years before I made out another table but smaller, it had 2 ball screws one for the X axis and one for the Y. Since I had this scheme already designed I only redisegned the X axis because it would be too wide for a ball screw and then I switched to a pinion rack.

I use compressed air for the water levels
if it fits in the pipe, it goes

no moving parts, would recommend

I had 2” pipe on mine and it would still clog up. I was also using it for 2 shifts 5 days a week.

It was a nightmare!

I have my drain on the end of the table on the backside of the gantry when it is at '0'. it doesn't get much buildup back there

My main problem was also aluminum that would create a muddy sludge.
you dont want that **** going into a enclosed tank, but it shouldn't plug up
how are you plumbed?

It hasn't gassed off yet? I have had some small ignitions that lifted the plate off the table in the past with aluminum/water

I sold my plasma about 2 years ago.

I would clean it weekly, and that helped the booms. I did lift a few 4x8 .25 sheets of aluminum off the table a few times, but only about an inch.
