More "why women live longer than men"

You have to remember that it was designed to make multiple day trips across the Atlantic.
A lack of control is what killed it, do you want to shut down one of your engines mid Atlantic?

This is a Brit zeppelin in 1919. 3-4 days depending on which direction. The Hindenburg two decades later was likely a bit faster. According to the internets, cruising altitude for the Hindenburg was 650 feet, so no thin air issues.

Edit: Hindenburg's record from New Jersey to Hamburg was 43 hours.

Holy cow, how much that thing must have swayed with wind, or changed with humidity.

WOODEN TRESTLE BRIDGE, completed 1883. The tallest wooden railroad bridge in the world, the spectacular Marent Gulch Bridge, was 226 feet (69 meters) tall and 866 feet long. It took 800,000 board feet of lumber and a workforce of 150 men to complete the Northern Pacific Railway bridge. Just two years later, the entire structure was replaced by an iron bridge to address stability issues and fire danger. Circled in yellow are a horse rider at the base and two carpenters on a trestle at the right. PC users should click the image to better see detail!
Marent Gulch is 12 miles northwest of Missoula on Highway 93 in western Montana. A newer bridge is still in use. The 9,000 negatives of photographer F.J. Haynes reside at the venerable Montana Historical Society. Text and digital restoration of photo by Gary Coffrin.

Do you think the rise of trans-women, who seem to have a shorter life span, begin to offset the extended lifespan of the rest of the women, bringing the overall average down to that of the average man? Then the man/woman statistical difference would reduce despite the bad decisions made by men?:confused:

:laughing::flipoff2::lmao:

we can no longer define man and woman well enough to be sure there is a difference anymore.
