Moon Rocks and lobster boy

Did the kid who got his lung punctured die? News in Reno never said anything.

If you notice the over hang on the front beam, he is doing what needs to be done. I wish I could do this with wood working instead on making a million cuts trying to sneak up on the perfect 45. I have gone to just cutting at 46 nowadays.

Ever done any baseboard or crown molding?
Nothing framed is a true 90*.
I am not a carpenter by trade
that I am going to say fairly confidently is not anything to do with the word 'molding'
and dude is working with chain saw kerf tolerances :grinpimp:

Cutting a perfect 45 or even close is one thing. Using a chainsaw. That shits going to be like 50 degrees with a gap on top and bottom.

Doesn't matter the dude is using the wrong saw. He could be doing that from the comfort of the ground with his arms at a comfortable angle if he used this saw we have at work instead. :smokin:

Looks like my old saw. In Montana I'd have a log truck drop off a load of firewood logs for the winter. That old saw would cut right through that pile and no time, you have a rick or cord cut. My son hated it. Lots of wood to chop split.

I work for a tree service company now so they have all sorts of shit like this around.

I sent that pic to a saw nerd buddy and he immediately replied with all the specs on it and said he'd own one eventually.

footers: Foundation guys will fix it
foundation team: framers will fix it
framers: sheetrock team will fix it
sheetrock team: trim carpenters will fix it.
GC: homeowner can fix it later
And then while the painters are caulking and patching and trying to hide the mistakes, the flooring guys come in and drag the rough side of the carpet roll over all of the freshly painted door frames and the electricians smash a couple of new holes through the walls to add some outlets that the inspector pointed out that were missing and the GC says, "why the fuck didn't you guys paint this correctly?"
