i wish I knew if it was true or not. buddy lives in Nampa Id and it was second hand info.

as to where it goes from there. anything is possible. but, hopefully nowhere, stupidity all around. i hate sue happy culture. you get that close to live fireworks in that environment it's on you. consequences suck, it is what it is.

for this situation, i'm there and things are cool then the fireworks come out and i decide not to leave. Yeah it's on me.

like a forest fire, it can come close but get out of the way of what you see coming dont blame the wind for not changing direction. if i wanna take my chances cause i think the wind will change or the fires are cool to watch. fuck around and find out.

i saw what looked to be some young kids around and i cant help to think what sort of trash parent aint taking their kids out of there long before it got to lobster boys finale.

i've been to plenty of places that could be an example, glamis on new years past 5yrs, i aint around a firework that isn't set off by people i dont know. and i sure as fuck aint hanging out at the top of any of the hills with my kids at night. kids wont even be going out on night rides. as i know my risk and not putting it on them.


now fireworks that are intentionally sent close to me, i'll do what i can to kill that mfer before they kill me.

yeah i've had bottle rocket wars and roman candle battles, but never with random people.

or what more specifically are you asking?



how close to an unknown bomb do you think you should get before saying maybe its my fault i got blown up?

I'm talking about being part of the crowd, and it's a surprise to you that someone sets it off too close to you without you giving permission.
Haven't heard whether or not the guy that took one to the gut was part of the show or just someone that happened to be there as things happened around him.

Normally I'm a live and let live kind of dude.

We were at the hammers one year and this group camped near us started lighting off fireworks. Big double mortars and such. I moseyed on over to thier camp and asked them polietly to stop as they were hammered, and our truck with all the fuel in it was closest to them.

They reluctantly acquiesed and about 30 minutes later started back up again. One of their fireworks didn't make it all the way up and exploded about 30-40 feet off the ground showering both camps with flaming debris. Including our truck with all the fuel in it.

I lit in to them like R. Lee Ermey in Full Metal Jacket.

The next morning I told them if they were going to party like that, go away from us. They puffed up for a bit but ended up packing up their shit and leaving.

Yeah, I know cool starry bra.

Anyone standing beside a dude in his underwear who's shotgunning beers and setting off fireworks shouldn't be surprised when they get hit with something dumb whether that's projectile vomit or pink mist.

If he were running around being an idiot I'd be more sympathetic to someone who couldn't GTFO.

It's like going to a concert. Don't stand beside the speakers if you don't want your ears to be ringing.

I would rather have what was left of my removed than have an alien looking growth like that , i would also think infection would be a huge worry .
