micro pistols

II slapped a Romeo5 on a 1911 a while back, killed some stuff with it. Sure wasn't going to fit a holster though:laughing:

After seeing the thread title, I was expecting talk about 25 and 32 caliber pistols.

Just always amused me, when somebody spouts off about a leo and his opinion. Dude is paid to look at a laptop while driving and give tickets for talking on a cell phone:homer:

Mag dump on somebody or something and instant paid time off:homer:

Yet his opinion matters:lmao:

Where did I say his opinion mattered anymore than anyone else?

Just thought it was relevant info for the post. Not like I was saying the whole "I know that illegal because my brother in law is a cop" shit that some idiots do.:flipoff2:

A red dot on a pistol is the reason Elijah Dickens put 8 shots in a murderer 40 yards away from him at a mall in Texas. They DO have their place. Obviously they are not for everyone but if it helps someone to shoot better I’m all for it. The more people out there carrying the better. It’s all about training. You can have the best gear in the world but if you don’t train you will get yourself killed when it matters most. I’ve been doing the same pistol drills since 1999. I still do the same drills at least twice a month to make sure I stay proficient. What’s the saying, when you need a cop you won’t be able to find one. Again, training is key to survival in a gun fight.

‘Twas a joke son. I don’t give a fuck what people do with their guns including Plym and his super awesome drop leg AR pistol holster.

finger fucked all of these at a gun store in another state while on vacation.

decided I liked the p365 best.
they had a good price too, but can't because handgun in another state.

so I'll just find one local when I get back from this next business trip.

good enough price to buy and have shipped to your home FFL?

they had the p365 with the optics plate @ 469
so not really.
It's for sale @549 locally, and that's the hoighty toighty gun shop.
I could probably do better if I went over to the sportsmans den a town over.

Have you evaluated a Bersa Firestorm in 380 auto ? The models I am familiar with are 7 shot single stack and I know you said 10 round. They are all steel ( edit: aluminum frame) and weigh 20 ounces. They fit smaller or at least average hands very well and are reliable and accurate as any 3-inch barrel can be.

I've shot a bersa thunder in 380 previously.

P365 will get the job done. I don't need to add another caliber and sorting the 380 from the 9mm for reloading sucks dicks

It's pretty easy if your eyes work. On the odd one that gets in, and you're running a Dillon you will wonder why it didn't pick up a powder charge.

Yeah, so you know. On both accounts :flipoff2:

Decisions were made and I bought a canik mc9 and put a horosun 510k on it.
I haven't shot it yet. Been practicing both eyes open and red dot at home.

Which cost you more the pistol or the sighting device ?

The pistol. I liked how it felt. Worth the 400 dollar gamble on it sucking. I got a few hundo rounds of my preferred 9mm to put through it to be sure it doesn't.
Just haven't had the time to get out to the range and do it.

I like the idea of a cheap disposagat
gotta get around to getting a trade in 19 or 17 to replace my 19 that's somehow all sentimental and shit

you might even be enough of a wierdo to keep the glass clean, too
I know I couldn't when I tried carrying a dot

I won't run anything but an enclosed optic on a carry gun for that reason. I had a 507C on my carry gun when I first started running a dot and it became an almost daily routine to give it a squirt of shop air to get all the shirt lint and dirt out of it. Switched to a 509T, no more mess.

the one I carry has never been a "nice" pistol.
function is just fine. I'd like to not care about it so much if I drop it in the mud or something.

we'll see about the glass.

finally made it to the range with this thing.
doesn't like big flat faced hollow point sig ammo. Fails to feed from the slide release. Just stops right at the feed ramp.
Other than the first round in the mag it worked, so I shot it all breaking it in. Feeds fiocchi 147 ball ammo just fine.
Gonna try some speer or maybe that hornady jam with the rubber ball gag in the tip.

Took a shit ton of elevation on the holosun. Was about 6 " low at 25 feet. two full turns of up. Windage was pretty ok, maybe a half turn of right.
It's plenty accurate enough for the task it's intended for.
snappy little fucker. Not pleasant to shoot.
only problem I had with the holosun was setting it down on the side dimmer buttons, then wondering where the fuck the dot went when I brought it back up from the table. Other than that, worked as it should.
