I've decided that I deserve a new carry pistol.
I shot a buddies FNX with a dot on top and now I must have one.

I am tiny. My hands are tiny. I'm looking at the current crop of the new micro doublestack johnnies.

current top contenders are the springfield hellcat, the walther pdp and the sig p365.

who's got other suggestions that I need to wrap my girly sized hands around before I make a decision?

do not need manual safety. do not need a light rail. do not need a threaded barrel. just want the red dot and a 10+ mag capacity in a tiny ass pistol.
I know I should be carrying a full sized 1911 as god intended, but them shit's is big and heavy.
appendix carry because I like holding my dick hostage.

I sorta liked the FNX series. Guess I haven't found one that I love yet.
I liked his FNX, but the grip angle was slightly weird for me to shoot comfortably.
I assume their micro compact deal ahares the same grip angle.
I should put it on the list of pistols to finger at the store.

I just got a P365 XMacro (full size grip/slide ported). Out of the guns I fondled (G17/M&P/Springfield among others) it simply felt the best. And it is one of the thinnest guns I have carried. If I were to suggest another gun to hold it would be the HK VP9 (but these aren't micros)

pretty set on the micro size.
It's real hard for me to conceal something with a full size grip effectively on account of being skinny AF.
I'll have another look at the FN, but like I said, the grip angle on the full size deal didn't agree with me.

The FNX45T is one of my favorites, but changing backstraps might not be enough for your hands.

The FNX45T is a massive pistol, 15 rounds of 45 take up a lot of space.

Love my p365 super easy to carry and conceal. generally just use the flush mag base for the smallest package.
I either throw it in a pocket or in a small holster.
Shoots very well for it's size for me. There is a lot of choice on the market now for micro 9mm pistols. Most can be had with red dots.

You should read the shopping for a concealable pistol thread that's in this sub forum. Lots of good info in it.

Another vote for the P365. Tiny and accurate.

Shoot them and decide what you shoot best. I shot the 43x, shield plus and 365 before I bought mine and the 365 shot way better for me. I've since shot a hellcat pro and kimber maco, I'd still go 365.

The grip modularity is a big plus. For about $100 you can switch out your grip length. I feel like the x macro with a regular 365 grip and mag gives you a very versatile gun.

Kid at my work just bought a pistol to carry. He talked about what one to get about every day and I kept telling him to go shoot them. He's had his gun a week and already talking about getting a different one because he thinks the trigger is wierd. :homer:

oh I'm gonna for sure go finger fuck them all.

I ain't no rookie.
Just looking for ones to put on the list that maybe I missed.

I'll have a look at the glock and FN.
traditionally not been a glock guy, but maybe I like it.

Size comparison p365 vs p938 vs p229.
The p365 usually wins out for carry duties.

Son just bought a 9mm Shield single stack and I really liked it. Nice trigger pull and it’s small for girly hands too. I can post a pic in 8 days.

I bought my wife a shield9EZ and it’s one of the best small 9s I ever shot. It’s not a striker gun, it’s got an internal hammer and the trigger is really good.

Dont buy anything without shooting it first, ESPECIALLY glock, aka plastic fantastic.
I h8 the striker fire control in my 36.
And Johnny don't do that model

Just to stir the pot a little. This is a single stack shield, and the full size m&p with the small grip insert...

My next purchase is going to be a Walther PDP compact. I have 2 friends that have them and both really love them - they were especially impressed with the trigger.
Another buddy has the P365XL RomeoZero Elite and loves it.

I have a Sig 290RS can't stand the trigger. It's very compact and easy to conceal. I rarely carry it because of the trigger.

If you could tollerate a single stack. Look at the old Sig 938. Very 1911ish
I carry a single stack 9 right meow.
Classy guy like you needs CHROME and fake Pearl! :flipoff2:

if I could find a nice condition colt pocket pistol I'd consider it.
imagine the uproar of me cutting a model 1908 slide for a RMR.

edit:
my current carry pistol is generally a star firestar 9mm because I like it.
sometimes I carry dad's remington r51 i inherited.

The only micro pistol I have is a Beretta Bobcat 8+1 .22LR. Next closest is a S&W 669, 13+1 9mm.

I find myself carrying that little Bobcat more than anything lately. Its very convenient. Watching this thread to see about a mini 9mm.

Picked up a 950B recently, thank you for reminding me that my plastic grips are trash. :frown:

+1 on p365...

Carried glock 43 for last 6 or 7 yrs..... Grip sizes almost identical but I have a 12 round mag instead of my 7 rounder

Trigger is a hair nicer on the sig...

And I just shot a steel challenge and one of the guys shooting was shooting his comp micro P365 with a red. Dot :laughing:...and kicking ass

Lol. Sounds like James Reeves at TFB TVs Fudded 1903

I like my hellcat. Shoots well. Conceals well.

On a 4"x8" construction field book for size.
