its easy to do, no cable, no eating out and a bit of self control. my wife made about 20% more than me, i kinda freaked when she said she wanted to stay home with the baby. that was 30 years ago. i bought all the kids Cars and we camped out a lot on vacations. and when the bush tax cuts kicked in we started going on skiing trips every spring. I have worked as a Tradesman my whole life. We raised 3 good kids, and now feel like I am loaded since i don't have to pay for kids now a days.
