Looks useful for clearing protestors off the street also! The only big problem is it's February and we have no fucking snow. That ain't right if you have a beast like this.
It is a Snow-Fighter as the tag in the dash says. It's the biggest Manual Model they made with original cab designSnoFitgher?
thanksI haven't seen one of those since the early 90's, have fun
The Tatra 813 is next on my list of things to get.
I waited 10 years for this Walter to come up for auction. I'm patient to say the least. It's been on your list for about 10 years.
I'm psychotic to say the least.
I think so, but no one could tell me why exactly. All they said is that it was written some time in the early 2000's on the dash and they followed it ever since.Synthetic oil only because cold?
SnoFitgher?
Apparently was having a stroke. Fighter us what I meant. It is a Snow-Fighter as the tag in the dash says. It's the biggest Manual Model they made with original cab design
They were built in NY. In fact this one was built in the Voorheesville, NY plant which is about 55 miles from where it now lives in the Catskills. You are absolutely correct they popular in NY, VT, MA, NJ. ME, CT because of their location. But they also were used in places like Yellowstone National Park, Greenland at the Thule (now Pitfikk) Airbase. So they were really popular with locations that heavy snow because of their traction control system.Apparently was having a stroke. Fighter us what I meant.
They were popular in Maine being g built not far away and having shit tons of snow back then.
Is it sad that the tire is 54 inches tall and I'm only 66.5 inches tall? I stand next to the damn tires and they up to my chest.
