Sure you would send the mens with guns on your behalf.
Its called law and order and its our most civil solution for resolving transgressions against us. Yeah its backed by the force of gov and no its not perfect. But the alternative is people beating each other to death over minor disputes like cave men and the weak being dominated by the strong.

Heck, let's skip this whole representative republic thing...obviously the entire concept is flawed because of what we have today.

Let's just go back to a true democracy and mob rule. Things would be so much betterer.

Representative of who though? We let the two major parties steal the representation through big dollar donors. They control the votes. "We the people" no longer have representation and that's why every election these days revolves around social issues that the donor class honestly doesn't care about and just uses as a distraction. The "bipartisan issues" of constant spending and feeding the war machine are what they care about.

Never said it was perfect, but it's a lot better than a democracy.

The problem is the voters, not the idea.

The problem is that our founding fathers never envisioned today's career professional politician and didn't protect us from the rise of dominant parties that would control ballot access. Meanwhile, the power and reach and size of the government grows with each administration and Congress. This is not what they envisioned but I can't blame them. They setup a framework for the late 18th century world and for as far into the future as they could see and given that I think they did a pretty damn remarkable job. You just can't plan for what you can't imagine and they never could've imagined today's world in the late 18th century.

Agreed...and I should have said voters AND scum sucking leeches that live off our tax dollars. I'm referring to the politicians, not even getting started with the deep state POS bureaucrats.
 
I should add to clarify - dominant parties that control ballot access and just as importantly, control the funnel of big dollar campaign funder dollars. There's a reason why they worked hard over the years to restrict individual contributions to individual candidates but you can give unlimited amounts to a party. It's all about being able to control where those dollars go. Don't toe the line, no funds for you.

Both ridiculous examples- I admit. But where's the line with overt child abuse? My point is I truly believe changing the gender of a kid with hormones, surgery, puberty blockers etc IS in fact child abuse. We've been tricked into believing it's just a controversial medical treatment because we all woke up one morning and the hospitals were doing this shit out of thin air on kids. "Oh yea this is just standard procedure now"

My opinion--- it's not controversial medical treatment. It's child abuse. Clear, simple, direct child abuse.

I wouldn't go so far as to say .gov should get involved in adults getting body parts removed because they are mentally ill, but in all reality, not that long ago it was considered mental illness to think one was "born into the wrong body".

The docs should be referring them for lobotomies instead of cutting off their Richard.

I don't disagree. The line has to be drawn somewhere. I'd rather the doctors and parents draw that line than government bureaucrats.

I'm just saying that not too long this crap was not glamorized, but it was seen as what it is...mental illness.

Ummm...the "employer" contributions ARE the employees' money.

Cuz if it was the employers' contribution, they would get it back. They don't. The employee does.

And it isn't a contribution, because that implies it is voluntary. It isn't.

It is theft, always has been, always will be. Theft right from the employee.

Pretty sure the right answer is a cadre of responsible males from the community should "handle the problem". Gov doesnt need to be involved.

Everyone is saying gender dysphoria now. It's not gender dysphoria, it's a mental illness.

Actually, it isn't even gender dysphoria as gender is only used when referring to grammar. It's sex dysphoria. There's 2 sexes...male and female.

Progressives want to change the definition of everything so it doesn't sound so bad, I still believe words and terms mean things and definitions should not change because some snowflake doesn't want his feelings hurt.

Dunno what type of people you live around. I trust my community members more than the county sheriff, and that dude is pretty solid.
