Laugh at my security cam wrecks .

At about :20 in "Why me"?
And Annie isn't the chocolate lab LOL

Annie is a stone deaf Australian shepard who likes to sleep in the corner of the porch where the shared concrete from the house is "cold"
When the ikea shelf collapsed she was at the bottom of the stack looking me in the eyes like WTF are you doing to me :laughing::laughing::laughing:

Gotcha.

My neighbors blink cam caught a fox chasing down one of my chickens. Ended up losing 4 that day. Ah the joys of free range birds.

Dang that fucker doesn't even look to be running fast.

I'll have to get a picture of what was going on. I have a valve in the box to allow that DIY hydrant to drain back into the water box.
I took the plastic plug I use to keep it clean and just opened the valve with out first turning off the water to the hydrant.

I'm gonna have to be more careful after watching these videos. I work on my new house by myself every day. If I CarterKraft, there's no one to save me.

No video, but I CarterKrafted my fanger (Actually, two fangers. Went through and hit the middle one also.) with a ring shank 16. Shit was rather painful.

Fucking owie!

my dad nailed a 2x4 block to his boot with a nialgun when I was young. then I started laughing because he was hopping around with a hammer trying to get the nail out. he didn't find it funny! he got lucky, it barely grazed the side of his toe.

Great thread! I wish I had constant security footage in my shop. 99% of the time there's zero movement out there. Then every once in awhile, I go out there, do some ace mechanic'n, and find a way to hurt myself creatively.

I once dropped my 3lb sledge on my head. I had left it on a shop purlin, worked under it, and knocked it off. It fell maybe 4' before hitting me in the stupid. I lucked out and it hit me rubber end down on the crown of my head. It hit hard enough that my neck was sore from the impact, but I was otherwise just bruised. It's hilarious in retrospect, but at the time I was seriously 6 weeks into recovery from a bad wreck that resulted in a TBI and a helicopter ride (also completely my fault).

I sat there on the shop floor rubbing my head and wondering if I was in a Final Destination movie, and decided I better keep my yap shut.

I kept that hammer incident secret from my wife for a good 5 years, because one day she'll decide I can't be trusted to ever be without a helmet. :homer:

Adding some more old footage I forgot about.
19 year old gets kicked out of local bar DRUNK and proceeds to do burnouts ALL OVER town before smoking my mail box mid fishtail.

While I couldn't get a license plate it was fairly easy to identify the truck make/model/trim from the video so I just drove around town on my way back from my daughters basketball game. It was literally the first white truck I saw....

That why I like to live where it's hot. You don't slip on sunshine.

As far as falling down, I've fallen 8 times since Saturday. No video. :flipoff2:

I have a fucked up lower back and it flared up Thursday. Friday, I had bad hip pain. Saturday morning, I had a numb left leg from the knee down.

Saturday, I got up from my office chair and down goes Fraizer. My left knee gave out. Cool. Now I know the deal.
Sunday, going up the stairs and my left knee gave out. I have got to be more careful.
Sunday a wasp flew up at me and I spun to hit him, and the left knee went out. Fell against the metal dog cage. Painful.

Yesterday I ventured out to get a doctor's referral for an MRI because my last MRI is from July 2022. I got out of the truck at Lowes and went to the ground. No more getting out of the truck left leg first. Down I went.
I was in Lowes and had two 10' sticks of iron pipe on top of my buggy. I went around a guy and the pipe slipped. I spun around the buggy to grab them and my left knee gave out.
Fell three more times blowing the leaves in the yard.

Going to see a neurologist tomorrow.
