I am just glad I am still young and agile enough to recognize the dangers mid fall.
It seems when you get much older you just find out you crashed after the fact. :lmao:
 
Rib injuries suck. They stay tender for several months. That spot will be tender for life too.

I’m glad I don’t have any cameras but it would be highly entertaining. Hi lift to the temple, hammer off the top of a ladder into my orbital, head first, etc. I could probably make a 20 minute video with all the stupid shot I’ve done.

A tip, we rent those at work and the truck driver ALWAYS pops the control box off and walks up next to them when loading or unloading.

Oh yeah, My chin is still a little tender from a truck tool box lid that didn't fully latch shut the other day popping me under the jaw when it sprung open. Its a big one with an actual spring so it pops pretty good. No video however.:homer:

I had something similar. Genie z45 unloading, deck tilts, basket shears off pin and dumps my ass on the ground.

For some reason the shop wouldn't let me view the security footage. Seems they thought I might have a case after telling them to get the damn thing x-ray inspected.

It has all new pins throughout the boom now.:homer:

I forget what I was working on, maybe a starter, but I got a double whammy. Dropped it, hit me in the mouth, and I flung my head back and whacked it off the concrete.

I try to be as careful as I can anymore.

Last experience was a cheap hammer splintering while sledging out a u-joint. That sliver of metal poured blood from my finger and hurt like a mother! :laughing:
 
And another real quick that y'all should really love.
This was first few weeks of Quarantine. I had worked on this golf cart for my dads boss and I was having my daughter jump on it occasionally to test cold starting by inexperienced driver.
My son decides to cover the gas pedal WFO to spice it up.
This angle sucks but the sound is good, turn it up to hear the fear of a 13 year old crushed by a golf cart.

 
No one was injured, but my daughter was close. I was working in the office and heard the door open alarm in the back. No one was supposed to be there, so I went to check it out. As I approached the gate to go in back, I spotted movement.
