Years ago I was at a range and two guys rolled up the bench next to me. One was a very stout dude, picks things up and puts them down stout. He had a .444 Marlin, a folded up washcloth between the buttstock and his shoulder and every time he shot it, it rocked him uncomfortably. As in, shook his entire body in a violent manner and it looked entirely unpleasant to shoot. I don't know if he was shooting Buffalo Bore or some other hot loaded round, but I am confident right now as I was then that it would have stopped a Peterbuilt or an elephant dead in their tracks with ease.
